Introducing Alex

Alex was born in San Cristobal Island and became an avid conservationist. Growing up in San Cristobal Island he developed a strong interest in wildlife and the outdoors before going to study earth science at the Central University of Ecuador. When he’s not leading, he enjoys swimming, hiking and spending time with his two children.

He has been guiding in the Galapagos since 1989 and has a Level III National Park Certification.
