Discover Costa Rica

Excellent holiday! A varied agenda. Good hotels and lodges. Daniel our tour leader was knowledgeable and well organised and our boat driver Primo and our coach driver Manuelito (?) were very good.

Most Inspirational Moment

Tortuguero and Esquinas were amazing places. But all our hotels and lodges had beautiful gardens. Seeing two quetzals in Savegre was a bonus. Also the large variety of birds, monkeys, amphibians and of course sloths definitely met and went beyond our expectations

Thoughts on Group Leader

One of the best tour leaders of any holiday I have been on (and I’ve been on many). Daniel was pleasant, well organised and made a real effort to accommodate people when they needed ATM’s, etc. Daniel set up a WhatsApp group to include us all and sent out detailed itineraries every evening for the next day. He also had a great deal of knowledge regarding Costa Rica, its history, politics etc and also the wild life. Important as that is why most of us were there.

Walking in North Cyprus

It was our first time with Exodus. We really enjoyed the trip. The customer service ahead was very helpful, the location was really interesting and the guide and group worked well for us

Most Inspirational Moment

St Hilarion, Kantara and Buffavento were great. We also enjoyed the trip to Varosha and Famagusta.

Gizer was great. Gave interesting perspectives on the current situation in Cyprus.

Costa Rica's Coastal Secrets

Amazing country, wildlife, experience, guide, bus driver and enjoyable accommodation. It was a wonderful experience. The trip notes were really helpful and it really couldn’t have been any easier. A very special holiday.

Most Inspirational Moment

The wildlife. Off the scale!! The snorkelling trip. My happy place in the sea. Drakes Bay….magical and Tortuguero National Park. The weather. The diversity of the different coasts. The local people.

A really special trip

A comprehensive tour of the country, packed with activities and really memorable views of the fantastic wildlife

Most Inspirational Moment

A sighting of the elusive Quetzal bird in all its finery.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Pablo was really knowledgeable and a pleasure to get to know.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Don’t think twice, go in the dry season and enjoy.

Cycle Morocco's Great South

The cycling guide was amazing. The driver was very safe. We had an authentic experience. We loved the different scenery and the cycling route and challenge.

Most Inspirational Moment

The cycle route and fabulous landscapes. The other travellers. The Tagine.

Thoughts on Group Leader

He was fun. Always explained the day well. Answered all our questions and requests. Very knowledgeable.

Cycling Southern Morocco

Cycling Southern Morocco was wonderful, challenging riding, scenic and beautiful, good food, nice, helpful and competent leaders. I enjoyed the local produce snacks of nuts and dried fruits. I didn’t feel rushed with my photo stops during the riding. The tour sweep was always waiting, to be sure no one was left alone. I enjoyed our group meals of authentic local cuisine- the dinner at the Auberge was the best! It was wonderful to have a small group, and get to know people from different countries.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Super nice and always helpful.

Cycle Morocco's Great South

The guides, the scenery, food and a very nice group of fellow riders.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Our guides were all exceptional. So kind, helpful and informative going above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. I can’t rate Mohamed highly enough. He was outstanding in all areas. So kind, helpful and informative. Nothing was too trouble much for him.

Cycle Morocco's Great South

An excellent, easy going bunch of fellow cyclists, appropriate challenge for me, great views and climbs with superb descents.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Excellent leader in all respects. Terrific technical knowledge about bikes, attentive and proactive in maintenance over 6 days

Hectic but enjoyable Wildlife Viewing

The wildlife viewing was very good – from the elephant herds in Amboseli, through the boat ride on Lake Naivasha, and on to Nakuru National Park and the Maasai Mara. It is a very busy trip. There is a lot of driving and the roads (both in and outside the reserves) were in poor condition. This meant an early start every day and not a lot of leisure time at the lodges. Having said that, the accommodation at all the lodges was excellent. The vehicles were in good condition with a roof that lifts to allow good game viewing.

Most Inspirational Moment

Seeing Mount Kilimanjaro for the first time, emerging from the clouds on our last morning at Amboseli. We enjoyed seeing all the plentiful wildlife including over 100 species of birds.

Thoughts on Group Leader

We did not have a separate tour leader but rather two drivers for the two vehicles. The drivers were knowledgeable and took a lot of trouble getting us good wildlife viewing. We felt very safe with our driver who handled the amount of traffic and the potholed roads very competently.

Advice for Potential Travellers

Choose when you go carefully. We did not want to go when the wildebeest migration was happening. We thought we would be travelling just before the rainy season started. However, this year the rains came early so there was a lot of lying water in Amboseli, and we were restricted about where we could travel in the Maasai Mara. On the plus side, the lying water meant we saw a good variety of bird life.

Discover Chile

Hotels great (Florence Dixie in Puerta Natales my least favourite) especially Don Juan and the one on the island in Patagonia. Miguel was so organisednd professional all transfers so smooth. Took any possible stress away. And of course landscapes amazing.

Most Inspirational Moment

The scenery, the guide, the fact that everything taken care of.

Thoughts on Group Leader

It was great we had the same leader for the whole tour. He was so knowledgeable, patient, helpful with a great sense of humour.
