Located on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest, Khumbu Valley is traditionally home to Sherpas, the nomadic people who first settled here. They've lived at high altitude for generations and are superhuman climbers. Today the term serves for guides and porters the world over – and without them and their expertise, climbing in the area would be near impossible.

Khumbu is a beautiful region, with a rich mix of culture, and we acclimatise here before following the trail taken by many of the great Everest climbers, tackling some of the most incredible passes and summits of the Himalaya as we go. There are amazing views of the highest mountains in the world, glacial lakes and quiet valleys. With most of the walking above 3600m this is not for the novice, but will appeal to those who are fit and have previously trekked at altitude.
