Galapagos Islands Holidays
Darwin found inspiration for his groundbreaking book ‘The Origin of Species’ in the Galapagos Islands. On this isolated tropical archipelago, almost 1000km off mainland Ecuador, he discovered wildlife present nowhere else on Earth; today, Galapagos Islands tours will still astonish nature and wildlife lovers. The volcanic islands are considered to be a living laboratory by scientists and represent one of the most pristine yet fragile areas in the world. This enchanting environment is characterised by stark lava fields, cactus forests, volcanic craters, mangrove lagoons and turquoise waters.
Without a doubt, the highlight of Galapagos Islands holidays is the incredible wildlife. With very few external predators and limited human interference, the species that inhabit the Galapagos have always shown a near-fearless attitude to man. Close encounters are assured and we may find ourselves stepping over snoozing Sea lions and iguanas or watching up close the courting rituals of Blue-footed boobies, albatross or frigatebirds. A mask and snorkel will reveal an exciting underworld – turtles, sharks, rays and colourful reef fish are abundant and Sea lions love to come and play!

Scott Emond Cycling in GreeceAs first-timers on a group cycling experience, this was an amazing kick-off ride for us. We loved meeting new people in our group and the warm-hearted locals along the way… always gracious and open. The breathtaking scenery was awe-inspiring, especially along the coasts. The history echoed through every destination. The food was some of the best we’ve eaten anywhere. The challenge of the many miles and numerous climbs was very rewarding, as were the twists, turns, downhills, and straightaways that allowed us to focus on the here and now of our surroundings. And our two tireless guides Alexandros and Dimitris dutifully kept us engaged, safe, and entertained. It was an adventure we’ll never forget.
Kasia Woch Cycle Northern France: Brittany to NormandyI absolutely loved this trip! The cycling was perfect: around 90% on dedicated bike paths, with very little time spent on roads, which made it feel relaxed and safe the whole way through. Every day brought something different: charming medieval villages, peaceful countryside, and powerful reminders of history along the D-Day beaches. The food was a real highlight — from fresh seafood on the coast to delicious local cheeses and pastries, every meal felt like a reward after a day in the saddle. Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo were just as magical as I’d imagined. .
Overall, this was a wonderful balance of gentle cycling, culture, and great food — the perfect way to experience northern France!
