Relatively flat and easy cycling
The Prosecco Hills are surprisingly unknown and undiscovered place by people. The mass tourism had never reached at that place. If person want to go on hilly area, everyone has to visit this place once a life. I and my couson brother dheeraj hinduja had visited at this place.
A place that had not seen by mass tourism. As name suggest, it is hidden from mass. A tracking place for world best trackers.

Very well organised from start to finish, staff amazing! It was my first trip with Exodus and it actually exceeded my expectations.
Absolutely everything! But Grephus our driver absolutely made the trip!
Grephus was super patient and explained why we needed to hold back and take time to see the animals behaving as they naturally would. He was very knowledgeable and apart from the animals would give information on the bird life too.
Visiting the Azores was honestly unforgettable. The scenery was next-level — black volcanic ash, vibrant green forests, and bright hydrangeas everywhere in July. We saw so many whales and dolphins, all really close to shore because the sea gets so deep so quickly – it’s one of the best places in the world for year-round sightings. And hopping between the islands (they’re only about an hour apart by ferry!) felt like discovering hidden pockets of history — each one had its own personality. We even saw a pod of whales during one of the crossings!
My favourite walk was on São Jorge. We started early, high up in the clouds, but luck was on our side — the skies cleared and we spent the rest of the hike descending under brilliant blue skies. Surrounded by blooming hydrangeas and vibrant greenery, the whole experience felt incredibly special, like stepping into a living painting.
Jorge Valerio was an amazing leader ! He was very inclusive and made the effort to circulate around the group throughout the trip which made everyone feel welcome and included. He listened to the groups needs regarding dietary requirements and tailor restaurant options so that we could all eat together.
Pack for all seasons in a day, we would have sunshine, then rain, then sunshine then wind. It's quite an unpredictable weather system, however it never drops below 15 degrees year round so is quite good for someone who hates the cold!
Grade 5 – This was an epic adventure in every way, the hikes, the scenery, the hotel, the food, it was all brilliant. If you fancy a challenge and you like the look of the Dolomites, what are you waiting for? Go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
Ah, there were so many but I guess when we summited the Durrenstein 2,839m under clear blue skies comes close to the top, as does the night we had the hotel's winery to ourselves for the Tyrolean dinning experience, and a note on the food it's definitely a case of quality over quantity but we loved it, it always tasted great and it delivered for powering us up those hills.
Our tour guide Mark Brown was great, always enthusiastic, full of energy, super knowledgable and unflappable, just what you want from a guide.
Make sure you're fit before you go, take poles because they really help on the climbs and the downhill sections, and make sure your kit is fully waterproof as the weather is often varied to say the least.
A lovely week’s cycling thanks to the ever positive group leader, Cristina and the practical, “nothing is too much trouble” support from Radu in his green van in a beautiful, rural, unspoilt part of Romania.
The whole area of Transylvania is inspirational and there were many individual stories that were shared with us of people striving to keep traditions going. It was also brilliant to be part of a great group of fellow cyclists who provided a huge amount of inspiration and support.
Cristina was very positive throughout the week and along with Radu provided lots of information about the culture and the history of the areas we visited.
A few things: Take what you need for the 1st day's cycle in your hand luggage on the plane, if you can. My luggage was delayed as left by the airline at Warsaw from the connecting flight. Food is good and largely what the locals eat, so don't expect "posh food". Lots of variety though, not just pork and beef - we had chicken a few times, beef, pork and trout. As the notes say - get Romanian Lei at the airport - either with your cash (just before arrivals) or from an ATM with a debit card. As most meals are provided in the villages, you wont need much though except for extras (e.g. beer, wine) There are hills on this trip but most are the "long and steady gradient" type so most cyclists will be able to manage them. There are one or two steep hills but don't worry about getting off and pushing your bike if hills are not your thing! The bikes are ok, but seem a bit old so don't expect the quality of the bike you have at home. I found the gear changes were not as responsive as I am used to on my own bike.
I just came back a couple days ago from my 5th bike trip ever– this was an excellent one! It’s mostly flat, so the biking wasn’t that hard, but hard enough that I felt I got a great workout every day. Our leader, Lina, was absolutely superb in every way. She organized us and kept track of us beautifully, calmed the waters during stressful situations (our bus broke down on the highway! But we got a new one ASAP), chose FANTASTIC restaurants for us, and told us volumes worth of history in a captivating way. These countries are fascinating, beautiful, quirky, with delicious food, great beaches, stunning architecture, excellent biking paths (it was never scary!), and perfect weather for us (August). Highly recommend!

Excellent in every way
Definitely bring rain gear-- it rained on 2 of our rides! Not the whole time, but worth bringing something. Do your family research before you come to this area because if you have ancestors from this place, it would be fun to know that!
Unlike the dense Amazon rainforest, the Pantanal is more open and flat, making wildlife easier to spot. Over 650 bird species, including hyacinth macaws, Toco Toucans, Greater Rhea, jabiru storks.
Jaguars (we saw Three!) We also saw Capybaras, giant river otters, caimans, tapirs, Coati, Howler and Capuchin Monkeys, Azara’s agouti, tamandua, Crab eating fox to name a few!
We were lucky enough to see three jaguars on our departure. the first was lying on the banks in a cooler spot under a tree and sleepy at first like an oversized kitten, she then saw something she fancied eating in the water below and completely changed into the elusive hunter we know her to be. they can keep still for hours and move so slowly and with much precision it was exceptional to witness this behaviour and the respect these creatures demand.
Tony who is originally from the Amazon region has been leading in the Pantanal for over 20 years. His love of the wildlife here transcends through the groups. while we were all using the merlin app to identify the birds Tony was calling to them before they were even seen, Brazil's answer to Dr Dolittle.
The Dry season is June to November. there are less biting bugs during this season but they are still there. they can be avoided by using Deet, long sleeves, long trousers loose fitting and light colours. bringing a warm windproof jacket for the early morning starts is a must when flying down the paraguay river ready for your first wildlife spot of the day
A terrific experience of seeing wonderful animals close up in their natural environments and enjoying the hospitality of so many people so proud to show their countries to best advantage.
Spoilt for choice. There was at least one wow! moment everyday. On balance it had to be the walks in the Delta with KK and his team and seeing so many wonderful animals up close and gaining a real understanding of the importance of the eco system. I know more about termites and poo than I ever thought possible.
Adonia was just fantastic. Passionate, knowledgeable, his pride of both countries was infectious. Always felt super-safe in his hands and his great camaraderie with Gift our fabulous driver made for a great team.
Don’t bother with local SIM cards -coverage is poor and WiFi in lodges was adequate. Three pin South African plugs worked in all accommodation in both countries. Lots of small dollar notes for tipping and smaller purchases. Tipping is expected ( and deserved) everywhere. Flip flops for wearing in rooms where floors are hard and cold. Delta helicopter trip and sunset cruise on last night both exceptional and highly recommended.
Grade 5- Classic Dolomite Hike. Simply Stunning. Beautiful hikes through the northern Dolomites with views of the iconic Drie Zinnen peaks. The hotel was lovely and the leader really brought it all together. Thank you Thomas.
Hiking to the top of Monte Piano and seeing the Austo-Hungarian Trenchs vs the Itialina trenches only 500m away from each other at 2000m up a mountain.
Thomas Mahlknecht was fantastic. HIs local knowledge was excellent with great organization. His ability to speak German, Italian and English in the same sentence was such a asset to overall experience. thank you Thomas.
Bring your hiking boots and be preapered for a hiking holiday! Its truly a hikers holiday. long days out on the hill with a lot of ground covered. especially on the grade 5.
