I was very happy with the group size, the local tour guide that we had for the week, and almost all of the hotel choices were fabulous. I also liked the fact that the hotels were near our destinations so that we didn’t have to spend a lot of time driving around. I have been on many of these types of tours and the tour guide can make her break the trip. Johana was fabulous. She was personable knowledgeable of the area and went above and beyond to make sure we all had a great trip.
The masserias were amazing, staying in the trulli at that awesome hotel and staying at the Masseria. The wine tasting and olive oil tasting were also great.
She was excellent! She was friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the area since she was from that area. She went above and beyond to make sure that we all had a great time.
All bar one hotel stays were excellent and the schedule for the trip was good and covered Albanias highlights. The vehicle provided for the trip and the standard of driving by Diu was excellent.
Some of the lunches were in lovely venues with good food. The visit to Berat was great as was the extended stay in Tirana.
He was very professional and hard working - helpful next day briefing W/App circulated every night; was up early to ensure all went well with our cab for the early departure airport pick-up are 2 examples.
We have travelled several times now with Exodus and have thoroughly enjoyed all our experiences. We find the trips to be well organised and lead by inspiring, friendly and knowledgeable guides.
The scenery was amazing and varied, particularly the wonderful beaches. I enjoyed cycling over the different terrain, bike paths, boardwalks, quiet roads. The restaurants suggested by our guide were very enjoyable, I don't think we'd have found them on our own. Our group got on well with each other and were supportive of each other. A sense of accomplishment in completing the whole ride.
He was an excellent leader. We liked the daily briefing which prepared us really well for the next day without being laborious. Joao made great recommendations for local restaurants and bars and made sure we had reservations for them, he also, along with Tony, provided excellent lunches. We found him to be a very gentle yet strong leader with a good sense of humour. He clearly took our safety very seriously and made sure everyone in the group was happy and their needs were met. He is obviously, rightfully, very proud of his beautiful country and this shone through.
I cannot praise this trip highly enough. An amazing and overwhelming historical and cultural experience. Well organised and well-curated with a great selection of accommodation and transport.
Trip to the brand new GEM (Grand Egyptian museum), the best museum I have ever visited. Trip to the Pyramid at Saqqara where we were the only group. The tomb of Ramesses V and VI in the Valley of the Kings, the Felucca boat ride and sitting on the top deck of our Nile cruise watching the world pass by.
We were very lucky to have our Guide Muhammed S who was outstanding. Personally, Muhammed made the trip for me. He was not only exceptionally knowledgable about Egyptian history and culture but was also caring, proactive, organised , funny, respectful, generous and interesting.
This is the trip for you if you are interested in Egyptian history and culture. It is carefully curated and packed with trips and activities. While there are opportunities to relax at the hotels and on the cruise boat, I recommend booking a few days in Hurghada or Sharm if you also need a 'holiday' (I stayed in Hurghada for 4 days before the trip started which was perfect and also organised as an extra by Exodus).
The extension of Morocco landscapes, ranging from city of Marrakesh, Sahara Desert, Canyon and the valley are so impressive. I specially love the idea of immersive experience of local life, including eating at local families, hamman experience at a local village and participating into the charities to benefit local people. The theme of charity and helping local community makes the trip more meaningful and more authentic experiences we had.
The camel ride along Sahara Desert, the beauty of the canyon and the fun our tour guide, Jawad Oua in bringing everyone together throughout the car journeys.
I was very appreciated for his perseverance in helping my search for my sunglasses at the shop where we could wear local dresses for photo taking. Even under the scorching sun for the search for more than 30 minutes, he finally helped me to find my lost sunglasses. And I really like his cheerful character and good social skills in bringing all of us into good companionship. And he always worked hard to meet different requests from the group mates. And I can sense he really enjoyed the pride and
Maybe better description of mix of culture and walking to help expectations. Good way to see the two cities and get a handle on some of the culture.

I thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Croatia was beautiful, our leader very caring, the group very friendly.
The national parks were great, particularly Krka with its shady walks and wildlife - both were incredible. All the old towns were amazing. I particularly enjoyed seeing Diocletian's Palace = found that very interesting - and liked the town of Split (plus the very nice hotel there - the nightingale singing in the trees was a bonus for several of us!). Really enjoyed visiting the family with their herb garden. Finally arriving at Dubrovnik was a lovely way to end the trip = I'd heard so much about it and it lived up my expectations. And I enjoyed my half-day on Lokrum island too. I loved the sun and blue sea! I was struck with how clean everywhere was.
Vanja was a great organiser and, also, lots of fun. She is a genuinely caring person. I felt safe with her in charge. I felt safe generally throughout the trip - that everything would go well - but, also, I have a food intolerance and, while looking after the whole group, she always made sure I had something nice to eat while dining with everyone. Vanja clearly loves Croatia and she inspired us with her enthusiasm. We laughed a great deal during the trip. I have been on several small group tours in the past, which I have enjoyed - but I feel that Vanja is an exceptional leader. She was like an incredibly well-organised friend.
Exodus is well organized. I can depend on accommodations to be good quality. I can count on head guide to be knowledgeable. This was my second trip with Exodus. So I know from experience Exodus trips are well designed. I am planning a third trip with Exodus for next year.
Going through the Italian country side and really seeing the country. We stayed at two different Masserias. These were amazing.
Leo is a fantastic athlete. An inspiration.
This was a really incredible trip! From North to South you get to see the ins-and-outs of this beautiful country, the beautiful sights, the friendly people and the tasty food! I feel that it was the perfect duration for the locations visited – I didn’t feel rushed on any days but also don’t feel that we were roaming around aimlessly at any point! Just an action packed trip from start to finish and one that I would definitely recommend to anyone who is thinking about going for it… you won’t regret it!
The most inspiring moment for me was the home-stay visit at Xom Chien village. It's a very tranquil stay, you are right in the beautiful country side and rice fields, and are welcomed and hosted by the very friendly community in this village. The locals are very generous and friendly and are excited to welcome you to their home. This homestay being right near the start of the trip is a very good bit of trip planning as it allows you to slow down, take in the scenery and the culture and really unwind and start your holiday in a refreshed mind state.
Toan was an amazing guide! He was fun, friendly, funny and knew just about everything there was to know about his country! He provided such a deep knowledge on the history and culture of the areas we passed through and also helped us to learn some of the local language to help us communicate with the locals better. Just a really great guide to spend your 2 weeks with!
Depending on what time of the year you travel, bring fewer/lighter clothes than you're planning, it's hotter than I expected! Also bring some thin but warm layers for the overnight train. I personally didn't get very cold, but some of my fellow travelers were quite cold through the night.
The trip was amazing I think bc there was a great balance between freedom to explore and guided walks. Our guide, Veriano, was quality the entire trip. He made excellent suggestions, kept our whole group on time & informed, and kept himself available to us through the entire trip. It was simply amazing. I’ve already recommended Exodus to friends and family. We are also actively looking to book our next Exodus trip soon.
Veriano made the trip. Revello was my favorite outing but it was all amazing.
