Extremely knowledgeable guide. Looked after everyone. Made each day different. Full of suggestions and adapted to ideas each day. Went to so many different places and all were interesting. Everything went smoothly.
Most Inspirational Moment
Too many to mention. The group dynamic was great. There was so much variety. Andrius really made the whole trip a highlight. The water science testing was a fantastic addition to the trip.

Andrius is a credit to the company. His love for the Baltics and the history is second to none. He made sure no one was left out and went above and beyond for people. His organisational skills are incredible and his sense of humour is amazing. This trip would not have been the same without him as our guide and mentor.
The Chamonix valley is a wonderful place to stay as a base whatever tour you are on

I found mike excellent company his knowledge of the local area was evident and clearly he had far wider experience in trekking, waking, climbing and expeditions throughout a wide range of country's. His briefings were good and with a very relaxed manner it was nice also to share evening meals together where he clearly made time to engage with all members of the group, with his dry wit he added greatly to the overall experience would highly recommend Mike as a guide and would be very happy
This was amazing trip from the views from your tents in the morning switchbacks for breakfast🤣 treking through the forests and seeming amazing views from every which way absolutely amazing

Having been on several exodus trips I’d struggle to do a different kind of trip now. You see so much of a country that isn’t always too touristy and with the superb local guides, get a real feel for the culture.
Most Inspirational Moment
The leader, Fatima. Durmitor Nat Park, some of the places we stopped for lunch and lunch with the local family. Though in reality the whole trip was superb!

She completely made the trip. Vast knowledge, passionate about the region with an amazing, inspirational outlook on life. She made the effort with everyone, took their individual needs into account and tweaked things, like treats, walks, to ensure everyone benefitted. A complete asset to Exodus and a truly wonderful soul
Fantastic overview of three fascinating countries . I travelled with my husband, and we both thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Most Inspirational Moment
For me it was wonderful to see how these countries, and in particular the cities, have recovered from an oppressive state during the Soviet domination, in such a short time.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Andrius was a great organiser and really encouraged us to explore us much of the culture as we could in the short time we had. Local food was well explained so we could willingly try it. Andrius had a great sense of humour, and really held the group together. His passion for these countries is clearly seen. It was also very interesting to hear if his life during Soviet times.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take good walking shoes to ease your way around the cobblestones. Be prepared for busy days, and sudden weather changes.
Wonderful locations, spectacular scenery, good variety and a fabulous leader!
Most Inspirational Moment
Learning from the leaders vast knowledge and enthusiasm. Views in Durmitor Nat Park were breathtaking and drive down to Bosnia equally stunning, as well as lunch with a local family

Fatima was an exemplary tour leader for me. Her knowledge and outlook on life were inspirational and pretty life changing. She always ensured everyone was comfortable and often surprised us with unexpected treats. The weather was v v hot & she made small tweaks to ensure we didn’t suffer in the heat too much. Along with the group we had, she absolutely made the trip!
Advice for Potential Travellers
Whilst you can use cards, cash is often preferred in many places. We took euros & Fatima took us to an exchange/atm in Sarajevo for the Bosnian convertible marks
Excellent educational historical scenic Albanian journey. Our group leader Ed was extremely knowledgeable and shared stories of living under communism. Our driver Di Di was a joy to be around. Not only was he an excellent driver on the long windy roads but he brought so much fun and joy to our group.
This is a fantastic trek – doing it in June meant there was still some snow on the route and lots of wild flowers, including orchids. We camped in some great locations with the most stunning mountain views.
Most Inspirational Moment
There were lots of 'oh wow' moments as views of Mont Blanc, the Grand Jorrases and other 4000m peaks and glaciers came into view.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our group leader (Adrian) had extensive local knowledge of the route, the best places to get coffee and cake, the plants, the mountains and glaciers. He was attentive to the needs and enthusiasms of the group.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Read the trip notes! This IS a challenging trek, especially if it is hot. Be prepared to be flexible, embrace the challenge and you'll have a wonderful time.

Our guide Guillermo Arrieta was fantastic; he made the tour quite magical. He was a biologist with 30 years experience and had incredible knowledge of wildlife, whether it was mammals, birds, reptiles or botanical plants. Guillermo and our lovely driver Carlos were always on the look out for creatures.
The wildlife-viewing surpassed my expectations. Apart from one hotel, all of the accommodations were excellent. The itinerary was very good.
