Monument Valley Tours & Holidays

Our Monument Valley Tours

Discover one of the most iconic landscapes in North America on a tour of Monument Valley. Situated in Southwestern USA on the ArizonaUtah border, Monument Valley is known for its bright-red spindles, grand buttes and towering sandstone mesas. Don’t miss the opportunity to channel your inner Clint Eastwood and set foot on this landscape that accentuates everything we know and love about Spaghetti Western movies.

With isolated mesas and buttes towering as high as 1,000 feet above sea level, these unique sandstone formations within the Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park are every photographer’s dream. Wherever you stand (and whatever time you visit on your Monument Valley tour) you are never far away from the perfect photo opportunity. For one of the most dramatic sunrises you will ever experience, head to Totem Pole, a 450ft tall butte, and for the ultimate sunset head to Mitten View. As the sun rises and sets over the horizon, watch as the pink and white rocks change colour and the light dances among the buttes and mesas.

Best time to visit Monument Valley?

Expect a lot of sun and plenty of dry heat where temperatures rise to almost 40C during the summer and then dramatically fall to below zero in the winter months. Cooler temperatures and fewer visitors make spring and autumn the ideal time to visit on your Monument Valley tour, however the winter season just as spectacular. In the winter months it’s not uncommon to see snow fall at Monument Valley, which makes for some incredible photo opportunities.

This was an epic tour. Virtually ever day has a Wow moment which literally had our group in awe. Expected Grand Canyon to be amazing but Bryce Canyon was probably my favourite. Jay the Guide went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. Including a bespoke sound track for the bus. Driving into Death Valley to sound of U2 was brilliant.
