An excellent but demanding trek amongst the most beautiful scenery.
Reaching Base Camp &Kalla Pater and also reaching Lukla at the end of the trek which inspired a great feeling of "mission accomplished "!

This was one of the most interesting and inspiring cultural trips I have been on. Our guide was superb and the history, along with the scenery in Jordan, made for a truly outstanding 10 days.
It is impossible to pick one particular moment as there were many. The top 5 highlights for me were, lunch overlooking the Sea of Galilee, the Roman City of Jerash, the site of Jesus' baptism at Bethany, Petra and the Wadi Rum, but, on any other holiday, many of the other sites we visited in between would have been in the top 5 too.
I cannot praise Eyad Al Banna (Eddie) highly enough. His historic and current knowledge of all things Jordan and the Middle East was exceptional and he imparted it in an interesting, humorous and patient manner that truly made the holiday. Eddie really brought the group together and did a great job keeping us all pointed in the right direction, dealing with personal matters quickly and effectively, all whilst telling jokes and constantly having a smile on his face. He is firmly in my top three guides from all the adventure and cultural trips I have been on.
Make the trip and enjoy it. Do not worry about travelling in Jordan just because it is in the Middle East. The people are very friendly and it feels totally sage
Undiscovered Atlas is a great week of trekking, which, for me, was pitched at the right level. There were some challenging parts to the trek, but not so difficult that it was not enjoyable. It was great to visit a remote part of the country, where there were few tourists, but the locals were very friendly and welcoming. I felt like I had a proper break away from normal life, which felt great! The food was simple, but fabulous and I enjoyed it all. I would definitely recommend this trip to others.
Reaching the peak of Jebel Aklim was great, it was a challenging hike up but felt great a the top!
Youssef was a great group leader. He was very experienced and knowledgeable and had a good relationship with the group. He lead us across some remote areas and I felt completely confident and ease at all times. Thank you Youssef! The rest of the team should also be thanked ie the drivers, cooks and extra guide. They were all very professional.
Take plenty wet wipes, spare socks and underwear. There is no showering, but it felt nice to put clean things on after the day's trek. Also take blister treatment eg compeed and tape to prevent blisters. Also, no electricity so taking a power monkey / charging device is useful if you are relying on taking photos on your phone, for example.
I am aged 62 with a decent overall level of fitness but no previous experience of trekking and limited day hike practice.
I found this trek very ‘do-able’ and a fantastic way to experience the marvellous scenery and huge peaks of the Himalayas. The pace was very steady, the acclimatisation gradual; and the combination of group encouragement and the novelty of the scenery made the walk a pleasure.
The tea houses were basic but clean and comfortable and the food wholesome.
Not a moment as such, but the soaring mountains were an incredible sight through the trek.
Prasant was a great group and team leader. He led the group with great patience and good humour, balancing leadership with friendliness and always willing to go the extra mile to make our tour a success. He was knowledgeable, competent, and happy to share his knowledge of the country, its people, and wildlife.

An excellent trip with an opportunity to experience a good range of different habitats. Accommodation all of a high standard. Eco-lodges particularly good. High standard of food throughout the trip.

Go on this trip if you are interested in wildlife - particularly birds. Take a reasonable camera with a good zoom lens.

It was a week filled with varied walks which were very well lead by Severio. His personal preparation, briefings and advice were of an amazingly high standard. He is a very friendly guy, personable and caring with a fantastic sense of humour
The walks themselves were varied in style, scenery and degree of difficulty. We were able to explore a vast area of the coast and were amazed when we were able both to view from the sea and to see outlined on a map just how far we had walked and the heights we had attained.
This is my second Exodus trip (Albania being my first) but it will not be my last

The walks have their respective degrees of difficulty. Prepare your body well!
Fabulous week in the snow in the Finland. The week exceeded all expectations – helped by the fact we saw the Northern Lights on night one on the way from the airport. Had a great mix of different activities and stunning scenery. Also food was really good. Lunch was always a filling soup and dinner great home cooked Finnish dishes.
The morning dog sledding - a small company is used who take good care of the dogs and dogs seemed very happy to bring us out for exercise. Also the scenery in the area was like a Winter Wonderland
Martti made the trip. It was clear that he loves the outdoor life in the snow and he was happy to share those experiences with the group. He also had a great sense of humour

The last week of March 2018, I met with 10 other cyclists and 2 Exodus cyclists.
Weather was great all week.
Mountain biking was just that – real mountains, middle of nowhere, old rocky tracks; most just about capable of 4×4 – which is just as well as we had two Toyota Landcruisers as back up along with a transit minibus leapfrogging.
Day 1 – Straight into a long and exciting descent – a real test of skill set – shale surface to huge rocks, all just about manageable by all of us.
Excellent – Exodus guides and back up drivers
Good – Hotels and food – as described in brochure/web – cleanliness with food handling a major factor throughout
Excellent – choice of routes, camaraderie, bikes, excitement, social evenings, views and natural scenery.
Excellent – leadership and cycling knowledge by both guides; both at the very top of MTB cycling but not bragging or showing off. Really mature characters.
Climbing – yes there was plenty of uphill cycling – if you wanted to – there was always a choice of a back up vehicle if you didn’t fancy a particular climb. All aspects were clearly explained – the distance of the climb, the steepness and the choice of cycle or not. Never an issue at all.
Other positives – evening meals, small cycle challenges (ride on the blue rocks, ride a single v steep rock)
It was such great cycling that I’m going to return – not something I normally would consider.
It was a truly exciting, seat of the pants, on the edge cycling experience.
By the way – everyone was tucked up in bed before 2230 – happily worn out!

Plenty of factor 50
This was my first cycling trip and really enjoyed it. Great local food and some interesting sightseeing on the trip as well.
Seeing Angkor Wat for the first time as we cycled around the various temples.
Nut was excellent, very easy-going attitude which made us all relax.
I took a Fabric air-cushioned saddle which was comfortable although still needed padded boxers for the longer 90km days. It is really hot and humid, Buff head band (they do one specifically for cycling) stopped sweat going in my eyes. The Requiem exhibition of photographs by photographers who were killed during the wars in Indochina on the top floor of the War Remnants Museum in Saigon is unmissable. BBQ garden is a nice outdoor restaurant in Saigon near the Independence Palace.
A great trip with huge variety showing you the best of this beautiful friendly and historic country.
A visit to the genocide museum showing the shocking brutality of the Khmer rouge regime became the highlight when we met one of the survivors of the prison and spent time talking to him. Un extremely humbling experience that will always be one of the highlights of all my travels where life takes me. The temples of Angkor did not disappoint and the cycling trip around them is a great way to get away from the crowds for a while. Getting up for sunrise is a must to see Angkor watt at it'so best and to get in before it gets too crowded. If you get chance to have an extra day in spam reap it is very easy to hire a tuc tuc to take you back to any temples you want to spend more time at or get to some.of the smaller and quieter templesthat are more atmospheric due to the lack of crowds and the unspoilt nature of these less frequented temples.
Great knowledgeable leader who managed to some how always meet the variety of needs of our group. Always had a smile on his face and dealt with problems (illness, lost luggage, lost group members) without any fuss and bother. Willing to share his and his families experiences of the recent genocide in his country. Always new where to find great food and drink.
Stay an extra day in Siam Reap at the end and get a tuc tuc for your own personal trip around the temples. Take part in the bike rides despite the heat, it's a great way to get out into the countryside and meet the locals and at Angkor a great way to get away from the crowds.
