The Gorropu Gorge and Tiscali mountain and archaeological site walks were both superb. Beautiful landscapes and some great walking that had a bit of challenge which made it more enjoyable.

I absolutely loved this trip! The cycling was perfect: around 90% on dedicated bike paths, with very little time spent on roads, which made it feel relaxed and safe the whole way through. Every day brought something different: charming medieval villages, peaceful countryside, and powerful reminders of history along the D-Day beaches. The food was a real highlight — from fresh seafood on the coast to delicious local cheeses and pastries, every meal felt like a reward after a day in the saddle. Mont-Saint-Michel and Saint-Malo were just as magical as I’d imagined. .
Overall, this was a wonderful balance of gentle cycling, culture, and great food — the perfect way to experience northern France!
Some of the walks and landscapes in this area of Sardinia were absolutely stunning. The “culture day” was also very interesting with some excellent visits.

We had the best group of people, the best weather and a formidable guide!
The ride into Dubrovnik with the sea and a 100ft drop on one side and perfect weather
Marijo was tremendous, so energetic, personable, great knowledge of the history of the country, kept us informed of everything, invaluable
Order an e-bike, it makes all the difference, it gives you more time to enjoy the nature all around
Just back from a great Highlights of Albania trip. It’s a really interesting, beautiful country. I will spread the word to others to visit. Very economical and the guide was great. Artur was very knowledgeable and passionate about his country. He showed great care for all of us. The driver Diu was very calm and kept us safe. He was also very helpful with us and joined in with the group.
I loved driving through the mountains
Artur was great. We were lucky to have him

This trip blew me away with all the places we visit, the beautiful accommodations we stay at and the views you get with each new day you have.
Seeing the Pyramids up close and the sheer size of them
He was filled with tons of knowledge and knew the answers to all of our questions
Take loads of sunscreen, a big 360 degree sun hat and possibly a travel umbrella as well. There is not a lot of shade around. The swimmings pools are amazing for relaxing after a long day in the sun. You do also get loads of free time to explore on your own or do the optional excursions.
I’ve wanted to do this hike for so long and it really didn’t disappoint. The days were long, steep and tough from the very first day to the last but the scenery was just stunning. I loved crossing from one country to the next, seeing the landscape change from alpine cliff to meadow, to glacial valley. It was beautiful. It is full on so get some hill training in but this really was beautiful.
The Grand Col Ferret and seeing the Italian side for the first time - breath-taking. And the pistachio ice-cream in Courmayeur is an absolute must!
Adrian was superb. Some of our group struggled with this trek and he was constantly running up and down hills to look after everyone. He's a duracell bunny!
Get some hill training in!
This is a tough week (and I’ve done Kilimanjaro/TMB/Toubkal). Don’t underestimate it. Someone told me that in Romania the trails just go straight up – no zigzags and they really do! The ascents one the first two days are quite technical scrambles /climbs and the descents are absolutely knee-wrecking. So be ready for that and you’ll have a fabulous time!
The climb/scramble up to La Om was something I'd never done before and it was quite challenging. Also both legs of the Ascutit Peak trail - it really was beautiful up there.
Sebi was great as was Leo (and his bear impressions!)
Just don't underestimate this but if you're ready for some scrambling in an unspoilt area then go for it!
A great trip. I had been most looking forward to achieving my first 6000m summit ( which I did 😊), but the trek itself was absolutely stunning. Fantastic coloured landscapes, very exciting river crossings, great array of alpine flowers (never seen so many eidelweiss in one place!), amazing food and crew. Would highly recommend this trip.
Summiting Dzo Jonga. But some of the river crossings and passes were brilliant too.
Excellent.
Bring good river crossing shoes. I brought a trekking skirt following the advice in the trip notes, but actually shorts would have been fine. The luggage allowance is very tight going from Delhi to Leh, but our guide allowed us to use some of his allowance and although I didn't use it the cost for excess baggage is not expensive. I had my own equipment, but you can hire everything you need in Leh (which would also help with the luggage allowance). Would recommend taking the optional jeep trip (worth I for the amusing road signs as well as the views!).
I’ve had a wonderful week – challenging at times but so worth the effort. Hotel was sweet with friendly staff. The local restaurants were very good too . Liz was a really fantastic guide – attentive, kind and extremely knowledgeable of the local area.
The most inspiring moment was being caught in the pouring rain on a hillside — soaked, laughing, and united by the simple truth that in the rain, we are all the same.
Liz was a fabulous guide. Very knowledgeable of the local area with a gentle, steady presence that helped everyone feel at ease and supported.
Great week - challenging at times but well worth the effort.
We opted to do this over hiking Mt Kilimanjaro. So glad we did. I loved the variety of the wildlife and the hiking. The terrain was excellent with a good amount of challenge. Clifford our guide was fabulous. He pointed out the wildlife, gave us interesting information on all sorts of things and led our walks managing a range of abilities and speeds. We loved the trip and had an awesome time. Would highly recommend it to anyone.
Hiking in the Drakensberg mountains
Absolutely fantastic. His knowledge, ability to see wildlife and manage all abilities on the walks was outstanding. Thanks Clifford.
If you love some walking in the outdoors and spotting wildlife do this trip.
