Kilimanjaro: the Roof of Africa
Date:
26 February 2015 Time: 19:00
Venue:
The Copthorne Tara Hotel , Scarsdale Place Kensington, London W8 5SY
Presenter:
Andrew Appleyard, Chloe Knott, Emma Garrick

Towering 5,895m above the African plains and measuring up to 40km across, Mount Kilimanjaro is the world’s largest free standing mountain and the only place on land where you can clearly see the curvature of the Earth. For over 40 years Exodus has been leading trips to the summit of this spectacular mountain, and between them Exodus office staff have made in excess of 100 ascents. Over our 40 years of operating we have acquired the knowledge and experience to pioneer new routes and to provide our clients with the best treks possible. This evening our trekking gurus Andrew Appleyard, Chloe Knott and Emma Garrick will be joined by other Exodus staff who have summited the mountain to take you through the best and least crowded routes - Lemosho and Rongai. They will also be on hand to answer any questions about training and equipment.

Wildlife Exposed
Date:
03 March 2015 Time: 19:00
Venue:
Edinburgh Marriott, 111 Glasgow Road, Edinburgh EH12 8NF
Presenter:
Paul Goldstein

For twenty five years photographer, guide and Exodus stalwart Paul Goldstein has been photographing wildlife, particularly predators. Each year he unveils a sparkling new portfolio of leopards, lions, jaguars, polar bears and some breath-taking scenery. Paul, despite his ‘marmite’ reputation has a large following and his safaris and expeditions are always filled with repeat clients, like many Exodus holidays. However much like his tours, if you are expecting a comfortable ride, think again: this lavishly illustrated presentation will be opinionated, provocative and intense, you have been warned. His new collaboration with friend and photographer Kyriakos Kheziras is a 240 page book just on Predators. He will have a few copies with him.
