Amazing Iceland in an amazing trip!
A lot was packed into 4 fun-filled days taking in stunning scenery. Travelling on a comfortable bus, our brilliant guide Ibi made sure we got to take in Iceland and its history through our many stops.
Most Inspirational Moment
There were so many fantastic moments in this trip, though walking through the divide at Thingvellir National Park and taking in the view was spectacular. The Blue Lagoon was the perfect way to end the trip with new found friends.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Ibi really helped to make this trip with an informative and friendly style. I felt complete safe under her guidance at all times.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Be prepared to take lots of photographs and bring one will a long exposure and a tripod if you hope to shoot the northern lights. Alongside that, thermals are recommended as the wind can be icy. Good waterproofs including over-trousers are essential, especially at the falls if the weather is bad. Also try and take a walk into Reykjavik at some point so you don't miss out.

Croatia Islands & Mountains
The country is beautiful, the people friendly, the old cities interesting (Dubrovnik and Split), accommodation okay, food adequate.
Most Inspirational Moment
Getting to the top of a hill that I didn't think I would manage!
Getting to top of the belltower in Split.
Walking the city walls in Dubrovnik.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Zeljko Zarak was excellent - unfailingly good natured, kind and an inspirational guide and leader.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Be prepared for heat!
If older, make sure you are fit enough to cope with rough mountain paths - down often more difficult than up.
Don't forget about mosquitoes.

Beautiful at every turn
An incredible week of superb food, hill top towns, challenging cycling, new friends of all abilities and a well structured itinerary!
Most Inspirational Moment
Every turn, every climb, every descent was a "wow this is beautiful" moment! The scenery was incredible
Thoughts on Group Leader
Liz and Paul worked so well together! Liz was incredibly well organized and her restaurant recommendations were 100% outstanding! They structured the riding around everyone's capabilities and frequent stops and clear instructions meant a well run trip.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Late May was still COLD and wet so take appropriate clothing even if the weather forecast before you leave says warm and dry! It is extremely hilly, know what 1000m of ascent means before you go. I did and I knew what I was riding but others didn't. The distances are not long but the hills are :-)
I ride a carbon road bike so I was nervous about the bikes but they were absolutely perfect.

Stunning Cycling Trip
This trip was exactly what I needed, a complete escape from the busy’ness of life to focus on the stunning Italian scenery.
Most Inspirational Moment
Cycling through the Amalfi in the late afternoon, looking out over the water, the temperature just right, and the scenery breathtaking. Perfect way to end a hard day of cycling. I've never done a cycling trip like this before so wasn't sure that I was up for 5 days of cycling however I wouldn't have changed a thing. It was an incredible, very memorable trip.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Our group leader Paolo was personable, knowledgeable and was always concerned for our safety. I traveled with a group of girls and we all had a lot of fun with Paolo. We can't say enough good things about him and Raphaele (our cycle tech).
Advice for Potential Travellers
Come ready to cycle some hills :) Bring a soft pillow!

Walking the Amalfi Coast
A fabulous trip. I can thoroughly reccommend it.
Most Inspirational Moment
This trip is full of highlights, so difficult to choose one moment.
Of course the walk of the Gods... Great walking with wonderful views. One thing: it would be good if it could finish with a lunch in Montepertuso and then a shuttle bus down. There really is no merit in taking all the steps down to Positano.
The waterfall was lovely too. And Ravello.
Thoughts on Group Leader
The group leader, Martin Goddard, was very good. He was friendly, he explained everything clearly, gave good instructions and lead us everywhere safely.
Advice for Potential Travellers
This is a walking holiday and it involves a good deal of walking, some of it up hill! Bring stout walking boots.

Walking the Amalfi Coast
As usual, with Exodus, an excellent trip.
Most Inspirational Moment
Our trip to Capri, on the free day, was memorable. Walked to Villa Lysis and back via Villa Jovis meeting hardly anyone. Great views and even time for lunch!
The "Walk of the Gods" was everything we expected.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Martin was very good. However, our group were strong walkers and caused him no real issues. His organisation and briefings were spot on.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Naples airport is not the best organised and our return was chaotic. Nearly one and a half hours to check in and then a forty minute wait for passport control. It is not possible to purchase additional snacks or alcholic drinks on Meridiana flights.

High Inca Trail
An unforgettable experience. Great guide (Tomas LLancay) who managed everything without fuss and provided an education into Inca History en route. 6 nights of camping is not my favourite but this is perfectly acceptable with great food that kept my calorie intake up. Excellent acclimitisation at start so we all started well.
We were all strangely discombob. when we met the masses of tourists at Machu Picchu.
Most Inspirational Moment
Reaching the top of the 3/4 passes.

Outstanding

Cycling the Dalmatian Coast
A fantastically well planned trip with enough challenges and excitement to suit all ages and abilities. Myself and my partner are moderate cyclists and found the trip to be everything we wanted and more. Our tour guide (Ana) took us to some amazing places and gave us a really cultured experience. With the most beautiful scenery imaginable and a really sustainable approach to travel. Whats not to love??
Most Inspirational Moment
Cycling the 50k stretch along Hvar island and being overtaken by people twice my age! they were an inspiration!
Thoughts on Group Leader
Ana was the perfect leader. She was confident, well organised and had a great sense of humour and adventure that got the whole group together and kept us all cycling.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Take some padded shorts and a camera - The views are stunning!

Western Explorer
A wonderful trip with each day having numerous wow moments.
Most Inspirational Moment
Difficult to pick just one but the most unexpected was the walk down Antelope slot canyon and photographing the spectacular colours and shades on the rock that the sunlight cast.
Also the 4x4 drive in Monument valley with the Navajo tribe a place I have always wanted to visit.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Erin was excellent. She had a couple of long days driving but still had loads of energy. She had a good knowledge of the places we visited, had plenty of suggestions for our free days and tried to vary the places we ate at.
Advice for Potential Travellers
If you are planning on spending extra time in San Francisco at the start then there is no need to visit the Golden Gate bridge. On the first actual day of the trip the minibus deposits you at the bridge and allows you time to walk across before collecting you from the other side.
Don't expect any time to visit / see Hoover dam, due to security restrictions meaning all our bags would have had to be searched we did not stop. Although we did visit Glen Canyon dam which is a similar structure and size earlier on the trip
There are a couple of long days travelling one of which is around 7 hours, however there are numerous stops and videos to watch also the time seems to pass quickly when looking at the scenery. The earliest we set off in the morning was 7. All the accommodation was good with the 2 nights at Zion particularly good

Fantastic Experience with a Wonderful Group
I was not really sure what to expect from the trip having not experienced a trekking holiday before but this turned out to be a truly enjoyable trip. The group was sixteen people and a complete mix of backgrounds and ages which made for entertaining conversation over the week we had together. Unseasonal cold weather meant a last minute change to the planned itinerary which was unfortunate but entirely unavoidable and the weather prevented us scaling the second (optional) 4000m peak but the alternative local Hammam experience was a great substitute for our tired bodies.
Most Inspirational Moment
The truly fantastic vista from the top of Toubkal will stay in my mind for ever!
Thoughts on Group Leader
Hassan was a credit to Exodus and to his country in general. His local knowledge and his willingness to share his experiences and snippets of his cultural heritage and religion made for both and enjoyable and highly educational week.
Advice for Potential Travellers
If you struggle to close the kit bag provided you have packed too much kit for the trip.
