The Hadrian’s wall trip was a perfect mix of hiking and touring the highlights of Northern England and the Lake District. Our guide Paul Cannon was very knowledgeable of the area being a native of the region. The places we stayed were inviting and comfortable.Overall the trip was all we expected and more.

I have just got home from my cycle holiday in the Loire. It exceeded my expectations. The guide Pierre, was very knowledgeable and helpful. The bikes were good. The cycle paths were all excellent, a few quiet roads, I did not feel nervous or over challenged. There was variety and plenty of visits to Chateau’s, vineyards and wine tasting. The picnic lunches were all very French, which is all part of the experience, and Thomas made wonderful choices of where we had them. The level of cycling was accurate. The distances were comfortable. I will certainly be looking for my next trip with Exodus.
The group, including guides, Julia Bianca, Pierre and Thomas. The cycle paths, the magnificent countryside and stunning views. The incredible picnic sites. The scenery and the beautiful towns we stayed in.
Pierre and Thomas made this trip memorable for me.
I never knew of Exodus before and now I do. Guide was great. Everything was taken care of. Wonderful. Loved the adventures and flexibility when we wanted something
River rafting, hanging bridge walk, zip lining
Great job
Variety of activities, knowledgeable and friendly guide, quality of hotels, bus and driver
White water rafting was AMAZING! Also loved zip lining, kayaking, waterfall swim, hanging bridges hike, sloth sanctuary, coffee and chocolate tour ( not included but so worth it! ).
We believe he added to the overall enjoyment of our trip
Pablo our guide was brilliant taking us to some brilliant restaurants and you could see he had a great passion about showing us and telling us about an authentic Costa rica. The activities we did were brilliant and I have ended up falling in love with costa rica and would love to return. The exodus trip was ran really well and we would definitely use you again to book another trip.
The food, the activities and Pablos knowledge and passion for his job.
He was absolutely brilliant and a credit to the company
The guide, hotels and activities were all amazing
Glenda was amazing. Constantly willing to help and had so much knowledge about her country. She should be proud of the job she did and made the holiday very enjoyable
The family run hotel was perfectly located, clean, welcoming and personal service from the wonderful staff.
The food was great, so much on offer too. Couldn’t be faulted.
Leave your book behind as the days are exhilaratingly long!
The hiking was very varied, I went in July ‘24 and the flowers in the meadows and along all routes were stunning.
Tomas was our wonderful local guide, we were with him during his first year. This made no odds as he knew the location so well. Every view looked down on a village of one relative or another!
Try the local blue cheese , it’s delicious and the hotel stocks the award winning product produced by Tomás’ mum.
Excellent! Tomás made our week, I couldn’t rate him more highly. 5*
Take poles, I did the level 5
A fabulous cycling holiday – our first with Exodus and certainly not our last. So much to see and so well organised….well worth doing.
Far too many magical and inspiring moments to list but my most memorable moment was standing in the warm pacific sea eating pineapple having just paddled up the mangrove river. The stay in the Botanical lodge was really interesting with a very informative guide and the trip to Tortuguero brilliant. But most inspiring of all was the abundance of wildlife and birds everywhere you looked.
Roberto was just wonderful - he was funny and so informative about every part of Costa Rica we passed through. His enthusiasm was infectious and he was so knowledgable about the history, geography and wildlife of the country. His whole team were great - between them they were organised, friendly and made the whole holiday so easy.
The heat and humidity to take a few days to get used to. It is very hard to get anything dry so we ended up with a bag of rather wet clothes after two weeks!. There are some steeper climbs in the middle of the holiday but you can go at your own pace.
14 days of biking the beautiful country side and coastal side taking boat rides to great places overnight train ride to Hanoi meeting great people along the way and spending time with a bunch of fun cyclist
being immersed in the cultural of the people
He was very inspiring because of his love for his country and his job. He told us some great facts about the history of Vietnam and stops along the way. Our entire crew of bus driver bike mechanic and truck driver were remarkable . Loved the trip
JUST DO IT
This cycling trip was an amazing way to see the region. The days before Amalifi we’re a great mix of seaside views, authentic food and rustic towns. There aren’t too many tourists around which is really nice. It feels like the real Italy. We then spent the last 3 days in Amalafi which although beautiful (and my reason for doing the trip), wasn’t as great as the inital days. You get used to the smaller towns and less people, so coming to Amalfi can feel like a bit of a shock. The cycling itself was good, some tough climbs, but worth the reward of the views you see. We did cycle in 30 degree with no cloud cover each day which made it challenging, but it was well managed by our tour leader giving us ample breaks and time for water. Overall it was a fantastic trip and one I very much enjoyed.
