Discover Guatemala

Discover Guatemala is a great new trip and we would recommend it!

Most Inspirational Moment

The volcanoe hike, cooking class at Lake Atitlan, Tikal ruins, colourful mayan towns and markets, our guide Eli.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Top man, incredibly knowledgeable about the country, local towns and people, customs, politics and archaeology. Really brought the trip alive. Unfailingly attentive, enthusiastic, considerate, organised and sociable. Clearly highly experienced and professional and made every day feel like a discovery, even though he must have done it dozens of times before.

Iconic Dolomites Hikes

Organisation was great from booking through to the holiday throughout. The hotel was lovely, with comfortable rooms and excellent food. Our guide Anna was wonderful and the walks were all amazing.

Most Inspirational Moment

I particularly liked the Monte Piano walk, which was the most challenging but they were all good.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Anna was very knowledgeable about the local area, geography, history, flora and fauna. She was enthusiastic, shared dinner with us in the evening and briefed us on what to expect from the next day's hike. When one lady slipped and suffered a minor cut on her leg she was quick to administer some first aid. Overall, she really helped to make this a fantastic trip.

Most Inspirational Moment

Too many to mention! But a couple of highlights - amazing tour guide at Rundale Palace, Latvia and the visit to the Curonian Spit, including the stories about Witches Hill. Andrius' choice of restaurants was superb.

Excellent! We've nominated him for your Best Leader Awards. His work ethic, attention to detail, knowledge and overall sociability was second to none.

Highlights of the Amalfi Coast

Everything went smoothly and was great experience!!

Most Inspirational Moment

I enjoyed it all,…staying in Bomerano away from the crowded towns on the coast was really nice! I just loved it all..the scenery from the van rides and the ferries was awesome!! Meeting people from different countries was a plus!! Hotel staff were friendly and helpful Our guide was excellent.

Friendly knowledgeable with genuine caring for the group!! Kept us well informed of itinerary and any changes! He enjoyed showing us his beloved homeland!!

Walking Northern Tuscany

The entire trip was great in every respect. Sadly the time went just too quickly!

The great times spent with our wonderful guides Sara and Liz (and also local guide Pierre Luiggi on day 7) and my fellow Exodus adventurers. The ascent of the Uomo Morto on Day 2. The ascent of Monte Taambura on Day 7 and the traverse of the ridge line down to the disused marble quarry.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Sara is a truly very special, quite unqiue and inspirational leader, and this was this was my view of her from the moment we first met at Pisa Airport.

Walking Northern Tuscany

This trip was what I signed up for. Wonderful farmhouse, great variety of food, extremely helpful and knowledgeable guides, breathtaking scenery, challenging walks and the company of like-minded people. I had a very enjoyable week.

Thoughts on Group Leader

Andrius was amazing. He worked very hard to make sure all the groups needs were met. He is very knowledgeable and his English is excellent. He has a very dry sense of humour. He shared some of his personal story which was a privilege to hear. He added in a few personal touches ( some songs, music and national drinks) which made the trip even more memorable.

Bosnia and Beyond

The trip was very well organised from start to finish, with an interesting and varied itinerary that allowed us to experience the highlights of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The local guide was excellent—knowledgeable, professional and approachable—and played a major role in making the trip enjoyable. Overall, the holiday delivered exactly what I expected from an Exodus tour.

Most Inspirational Moment

Swimming at Kravice Waterfalls was a real highlight of the trip and a wonderful way to experience the natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I also particularly enjoyed Sarajevo, with its unique atmosphere, fascinating history and excellent food, followed by Mostar, which was equally charming and memorable. The knowledgeable local guide added greatly to the overall experience.

Our tour leader was outstanding and one of the main reasons the trip was such a success. He was knowledgeable, professional and highly organised, with excellent English and a genuine passion for sharing his country with the group. What impressed me most were his exceptional people skills. He was able to adapt to different personalities, manage group dynamics with patience and good humour, and ensure everyone felt included and supported throughout the trip.

Walking The Amalfi Coast

My wife and I both enjoyed the trip. Good group, food exceptional in hotel, walks scenic and matched descriptions, group leader very knowledgeable of places and the walks.

Walk of the Gods, though each walk was enjoyed. Ravello was certainly worth the visit and the Cimbrone Garden.

Theresa was always there for us. Each component of the trip went well - taxis/buses, timing of walks, her knowledge of the walks.

Highlights of Albania

A full-on but fascinating trip.

Most Inspirational Moment

Several, the group dinner on the first evening and the lunch with the family in Dhoksat, both delicious. The beauty of the countryside. The visit to the Medieval Arts Museum in Korce. Our guide here was one of the artists helping to restore the icons. A fascinating visit to the Cac Dollani house in Berat.

Thoughts on Group Leader

A lot has been said about Artur and Diu in other reviews and I totally agree, they are a great combination both excellent at what they do. Artur is great at telling us about his country and Diu is a very careful driver and great at taking and sharing photos. It was just a shame that our vehicle broke down and Diu had to leave us to try and get it repaired. A new vehicle and driver was found quickly and we continued on our journey.
