Fantastic wilderness centre – family run – very comfortable log cabin accommodation. Centre staff and our guide for the week (Janne) were brilliant – friendly, competent and accommodated all our various levels of experience very well.

Top 5 Winter Activities on Lapland Holidays
Lapland Winter Holidays
The remote wilderness of Swedish Lapland is a wonderful place to experience a range of exciting winter activities, including dog sledding through the forest, ice fishing for supper, and snowshoeing across the frozen rivers in search of the awe-inspiring Northern Lights. Our Lapland holidays are filled with exciting adventures that guide you through glistening winter wonderlands to the heart of this magical region.
Performing the greatest light show on earth, the Northern Lights are visible above 65 degrees north, and the snowy wilds of European Lapland are an excellent viewing spot. Although there’s no guarantee you’ll see the elusive Aurora Borealis on Lapland tours, at Exodus, we guide you to the best vantage points. The Northern Lights are most often witnessed between the months of September and April when the nights are at their darkest.
Throughout our holidays to Lapland, we stay in cosy accommodation in the most beautiful locations at the centre of Swedish Lapland. Rajamaa is a fabulous place where traditional wooden chalets sprinkle the island in the Muonio River. During the week we will travel by snowmobile out into the bay to experience this amazing natural phenomenon.
Every moment of our Lapland trips is packed with adventure and as well as learning about the Sami culture and sampling the local delicacies, you’ll also experience the untamed nature where dense forests and immense rivers dominate the landscape on this winter holiday.

Mandy Barnett Swedish Lapland Winter Adventure
Jane Walker Swedish Lapland Winter AdventureA brilliant, varied trip in a wilderness area. Loved the talks from Lars on the predator species. Janne and Evelina were excellent, experienced guides. They would give you help if needed but also very encouraging of us just giving things a go. The dog sledding was even better that I was expecting as got to go through the whole process with the dogs before and after the sledding so felt like we were properly involved. And so interesting to meet with Henrick and hear about reindeer herding and the challenges. The added bonus was seeing the Northern Lights!
Neil Markides Swedish Lapland Winter AdventureWhat’s not to love about this trip? If you are like me and you love winter activities, head out to Rajamma to go dog sledding, reindeer sledding, eat the most fantastic food and relax with traditional local Sami folk!
