Cuba weather

Hi

I am interested in going on one of the Cuba trips and have provisionally booked annual leave from work from the 23rd May.

I visited the FCO website for information on Cuba and it says that the hurricane season is from June to November.  I wondered what the weather is likely to be end of May/beginning of June?

Thanks

Trish

Hi Trish,

Generally the weather in Cuba in May is lovely, but getting into June it does start to get hotter and more humid. There's more chance of rain in June as it's the very beginning of hurricane season, but when it rains it tends to be a heavy downpour, perhaps for a few hours, rather than continuously. Overall, May/June is still a good time to go. This trip is really popular so we advise early booking wherever possible. Hope you have a great trip!

Kind regards
Vicky

Hi Vicky

Thanks for that information and for replying so quickly.  One more question leading on from that - would it be uncomfortably hot and humid?  I have never visited that part of the world before so have no experience of how it is likely to be.

Thanks again

Trish
