ATH - Highlights of Turkey - 4th April

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone else out there is going on the Turkey trip at the same time as us. Us = 4, my sister and my parents and we are from Sydney, Australia (though both of us daughters are living in Europe at the moment). We haven't quite gotten sick of family holidays yet and this one is to celebrate my sister graduating her masters degree.

Anyways, just thought I would say Hi and that I'm really looking forward to meeting you whoever you may be on the trip.

cheers

Verity (and Chris, Andrew and Madeleine) :)

Hi Verity

I am a single traveller on this trip.  I have had many beach holidays in Turkey in the distant past and love the country.  This trip covers the places I have wanted to see like Istanbul, Pamukkale and Cappadocia (will definitely be doing the balloon ride).  I have seen Ephesus and Aphrodisias ages ago but they are stunning sites and it will be interesting to see how the excavations are progressing.

I look forward to meeting you and your family on the 4th.

Hi guys!

It's nice to hear from you. I think we are going to have such a fun time. It isn't too long to wait now. None of us in my family have ever been to Turkey before so it is pretty exciting. I can't believe it is already so soon! I am really looking forward to pretty much everything we are going to do. I am a bit of an archaeology nut (I almost took a degree in that but switched to geology at the last minute) and am a geologist so there are so many things on this tour that are going to be fantastic... pamukkale, cappadocia, Ephesus... there isn't a single thing I'm not looking forward to :). I am pretty excited to eat a lot of baklava too!

Anyway, thanks for replying. I realised I forgot to attach my travel blog address in case you want to know a bit more about me. It is www.withsparkles.com.

Very much looking forward to meeting and travelling with you.

See you very soon

Verity
