Anyone going on The Lycian Way trip starting Sept 17th?

Is anyone on here either going on this trip or have been on it before?

This is my first trip with Exodus, so if you've already been on this trip what were the best bits for you and do you have any tips?  How was the trek up the mountain?

Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Nick

I am also going to Turkey on 17th September and it promises to be a great trip, I have not been to Turkey before.   This will be my 10th trekking holiday with Exodus so welcome to the "club".  It is useful to read any reviews in the website and the photos look spectacular.  Where will you be travelling from?

Look forward to meeting you.

Hi Mary,

Great to hear from you.  I'm flying from Gatwick on, I think, the 4pm flight the day before the trip starts - although in hindsight I probably should have booked an extra few days before the walikng starts!  I've seen some of the photos - it looks amazing!

I'm trying to get lots of practice in and get fitter by walking the South West coast path and in the Brecon Beacons.

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Hi Nick

Thanks for your reply, it sounds as though you will be in good shape with your pre-holiday trekking and good to make the most of the sunny weather here.   Are you from the South-West?   I live in Watford and will also be travelling on the group flight from Gatwick.   You can usually pick out fellow travellers at the Gate as they are wearing their walking boots and have rucksacks.   Have a good week.   Mary

Hi Nick and Mary

Thought I would drop you a note and say hello.  I have travelled with Exodus before but not as many as 10 trips!  I haven't been to Turkey before.  I am travelling alone and will also be on the group flight so I will look forward to meeting you.  I currently live in Dubai but I am flying out to see family in London first before flying off to Turkey.  I agree that the photos look great.

Hi Laura

Welcome to the departure lounge and looking forward to meeting you and Nick - we have made a start learning some names.   Well you will find Turkey a bit cooler than Dubai at this time of year and the environment will be very different too.   I guess the trip is full as it is no longer on the list and perhaps we will meet up at the gate.  Best wishes.   Mary

Hi Laura,

It's great to hear from you, and as Mary says, it's nice to know the names of some of the people that'll be on he trip.

Can't believe it's only 6 weeks away now - I'm really looking forward to it!

See you both at Gatwick!!

Hi Nick, Mary and Laura,

We will be joining you on this trip, though will see you at the airport in Turkey. We are flying out from Glasgow, since its much closer to our home town of Carlisle. This is our 6th trek with Exodus and we've enjoyed every one!

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Liz and Colin

Hi Liz and Colin

Good to hear from you and look forward to seeing you in Turkey and hearing about your previous trips with Exodus.   Hope you have a good flight from Glasgow to the destination, certainly easier to go directly there instead of coming to Gatwick.

See you soon.    Best wishes.   Mary

Hi Nick,

Great to hear from you! Not long now. Should be great fun! I agree, the pictures look stunning. Should have cooled down a little by the time we get there! Hope you like playing games - we always tend to bring a selection with us - cards, dice etc, anything that packs small! I'm sure we'll all have a great time together.

 Take care,

 Liz and Colin
