Papua New Guinea - Tribal Paradise

Papua New Guinea Tribal Paradise

This was a most memorable trip. Searching for Birds of Paradise, meeting the different tribes' peoples and locals. Contrary to all the publicity that PNG is not a safe place I felt very safe and very welcome by the people. This is wonderful country to visit with so much to see and do.

This trip proved to be my best holiday ever !! The Exodus team are very efficient from the moment you make contact and inquiries and all the way through the trip. The Hotel Des Alpes in Greoux was a perfect place to stay; very clean, comfortable rooms, excellent ,delicious, gourmet dinners, pool to cool off after hiking. Greoux is a charming small town easy to explore on foot. It has many quaint shops and enticing restaurants. I recommend on the way back from the last hike to stop at Thermes De Greoux-Les -Bains and indulge in a spa package there. I tried the Spa Liberte for E39 which was divine. Floating in a warm clay bath to ease the muscles and soften the skin was pure bliss after a hot day of hiking.Thoroughly enjoyed all the hiking trails and was thrilled to be there to see the sunflowers and beautiful lavender in bloom. I think it is worthwhile to book your trip at this time to experience this, however if you do not feel comfortable in the hot climate another time of the year i am sure would be also memorable. A beautiful part of France that i will definitely return to.

Walk of the gods loved the walk but it was too hot, should have walked earlier in the morning when the heat was not so intense some of my fellow travellers whom were older felt ill at the end of the walk . I also felt extremely weak following walk of the gods as I did the last part of walk 12000 steps to Positano.

Cycle Indochina & Angkor

Cycle Indochina and Angkor - July 205

A fantastic, inspirational trip, an emotional roller-coaster of pain (from the saddle sore) and extreme pleasure from the sights, culture and people you meet along the way. I would whole heartedly recommend this trip, a once in a lifetime experience.

Exciting Mongolian Adventure

5
Excellent trip. It was a nice mix of big city (Ulaanbaatar) and Naadam festival and countryside/desert. Well-organized and planned. Long distances travelled by Russian van, but the scenery was beautiful and very diverse, our driver Sandam made it fun, and we had a great group of people in our van. Fun staying in ger camps.

Walking in the Italian Dolomites - Premium

Lovely Hiking Around Dobbiaco

5
Overall, a wonderful experience. We were somewhat uneasy about a centre-based trip, because if you find that the food isn’t to your liking the first couple of days it could make for a disagreeable week. We needn’t have worried, the chef at the Bellevue is top notch, making terrific use of fresh local vegetables, fruit and cheese and kept us guessing on what the menu would have to offer next. Service was consistently professional and friendly. What I liked best about the walks was the sheer variety – really no two alike, pastures, meadows, forests, boulder strewn scree fields, babbling brooks, fields brimming with wild flowers, cute hamlets, the suggested hikes had it all. The “moderate” rating is fair, though there are a few parts where a walking stick comes in handy.

Dubrovnik & the Dalmatian Coast

Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast

5
The trip starts in Trogir for one night and then moves to Korcula Island for 3 nights. On Korcula, the visit includes a visit to the medieval walled town of Korcula (day 1), a walk from Pupnat to Korcula(day 2) , and a boat trip to Mljet Island with a walk to the peak of Montokuc (day 3), Following this, we returned to the mainland by ferry and stopped at Ston on the way to Dubrovnik. In Ston, we had a wine tasting tour. The second day in Dubrovnik, we visited the old town inside the city walls. On the last day, we took the optional trip to Mostar in Bosnia Herzegovina to see the rebuilt bridge, destroyed in 1993.

Highlights of the Dolomites

Highlights of the Dolomites

5
Superb walking surrounded by weirdly beautiful, jaggedy peaks, with alpine meadows, terrific views, snowfields, bare-rock scrambles, ridge walks, mountain streams, well-stocked, picturesque Rifugios, steep, steep ascents and descents, cable cars, woods, valleys and a truly astonishing number and variety of wildflowers. It is a hard-working holiday but the rewards far outweigh the effort involved.

Cycling in Sardinia

Cycling the Southern coast of Sardinia

4
The scenery was outstanding and June was the perfect time to go - hot, but all manageable. Most of the group were perfectly happy with the off- road cycling, but we didn't take to it so well having really only ridden on Tarmac at home. Having said that, the vast majority of the cycling was on the road and the coastal hills and downhill runs were more exciting than difficult. Our guides were very caring and worked really hard to make sure we had everything we needed.
