For all bookings on Quark Expeditions made by June 30th 2021 for voyages up to March 2022 (inclusive of Arctic 2021 and Antarctica 2021/22), and new bookings made as of 1st May 2021 through to 30th of June 2021 for voyages from April 2022 to September 2022 (inclusive of Arctic 2022)on the following ships only: Ultramarine, 50 Years of Victory, Ocean Adventurer, Ocean Diamond, and World Explorer.
30 DAY EASY REBOOK GUARANTEE:
Easily rebook your trip for any reason up to 30 days prior to your voyage.
Up to 30 days before departure you can transfer to another Quark Expeditions voyage free-of-charge (excluding international flights, and any non-refundable in-destination costs).
Reservation must have been made on or before 30th June 2021 for Arctic 2021 and Antarctica 2021/22 seasons, and from 1st May 2021 through to 30th of June 2021 for Arctic 2022 season.
Please note that any difference in price between the existing voyage and the re-booked voyage will be added to your invoice
COVID-19 PROTECTION GUARANTEE:
Easily rebook if you have to cancel your trip within 29 to 1 days of the voyage due to COVID-19 reasons.
Where you cancel in accordance with these terms, we agree to waive our usual cancellation and rebook charges if you cancel between 1 and 29 days prior to departure for a COVID-19 reason
Your booking must be on one of the following ships: Ultramarine, 50 Years of Victory, Ocean Adventurer, Ocean Diamond, and World Explorer for travel before March 2022.
You will receive credit for travel on a future Polar voyage, on the Ultramarine, 50 Years of Victory, Ocean Adventurer, Ocean Diamond or World Explorer sold by Exodus, and departing within 14 months of your original departure date.
You must notify us of your need to cancel for a COVID-19 reason as early as possible (and at the latest 24 hours before your scheduled departure), and must provide us with appropriate written official evidence of the COVID-19 reason. Please note that evidence must be provided so if you have what you believe to be COVID-19 symptoms, you must arrange and take a test as soon as possible. In the event that there is insufficient time to take a test before your departure on holiday, please call us by telephone or contact us by e-mail as soon as you can so that we can discuss your options with you.
We have the right to refuse to allow you to rebook where we are not reasonably satisfied that you are cancelling for a COVID-19 reason. In such circumstances normal cancellation terms will apply.
Your COVID-19 reason must prevent you safely joining your scheduled departure and will take into account current applicable UK Government, your nationality’s government and/or destination government coronavirus guidance.
For the purposes of these terms a “COVID-19 reason” is either a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 within 29 days prior to departure or an order, via the NHS’s track & trace team, to self-isolate due to contact with a person who has, or may have, COVID-19.
REFUND GUARANTEE:
Easily rebook or we will refund you if we have to cancel your voyage for COVID-19 reasons.
In the event that our Polar partner, Quark Expeditions, has to cancel a voyage due to COVID 19 restrictions, you can easily rebook as follows;
If you rebook a future voyage in the following season on the same ship, itinerary, dates and cabin category the price of your cancelled voyage will be held (subject to availability/discretion).
Where a voyage to voyage rebook is not available, a credit for the value of 110% of monies paid at the time of cancellation will be offered.
Alternatively, if neither of the above options are suitable, a cash refund will be offered for 100% of the monies paid at the time of cancellation.

Price Match Guarantee T&Cs
•These terms only apply to Polar products operated by Quark Expeditions
•The trip being matched must be identical in all respects – including operator, ship, cabin, dates of departure and any other service element included in the quote
•Offer valid for prices displayed in the same currency as the applicable Exodus price. Price being matched must exclude any reduction by voucher, loyalty scheme, group discount or equivalent
•Offer excludes all air travel unless part of the services provided during the tour and shown against the land only itinerary on our website
•The trip and cabin must be available at the time of requesting the match and the comparative price must have been obtained within the last [24] hours
•You must provide a website link to the product and include a screenshot or email, showing clearly the date received or date the screenshot was taken, from the retailer confirming the price
•A price match cannot be used in conjunction with any other Exodus promotional offer or loyalty discount
•The price being matched has to be a genuine price and not an error on the other retailers website or sales literature. Please note that sometimes competitor websites may display prices no longer available or otherwise incorrect and where we believe this could be the case we will check with the competitor / travel provider directly to make sure the price shown is accurate
•Price match is only available for new bookings and cannot be applied to existing bookings
•We reserve the right to refuse any claim where we are unable to verify the claim to our satisfaction, in accordance with the above requirements.
COVID-19 Vaccination: Please note that as a condition of travel on any of our Polar voyages, clients must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Clients must provide proof of their vaccination status to Quark staff before boarding the ship
Each traveller must also specifically be in possession of a printed COVID-19 vaccination record document for review by Quark staff at the time of check-in. The vaccination record document can be either
(1) from a government health authority that administered the vaccination (e.g., U.S. CDC’s Vaccination Record Card, UK’s NHS vaccination record, etc) or
(2) a document from the guest’s medical provider that administered the vaccination and meets the following criteria: • Appears on the letterhead of the medical provider. • Contains the passenger’s first name and last name that match your passport. • Contains the passenger’s date of birth • Contains the dates that the vaccination(s) were received • Contains the name of the medical provider organization that administered the vaccine • Name of vaccine or vaccines administered • Batch number of vaccine(s) for each dose
If the document is not in English, it must be accompanied by an English translation. It must show that you have been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before the check-in day. This means that the guest completed the full cycle of required doses for the vaccine administered (e.g., received the second dose in a two-dose series).
It must show that the vaccine you have taken is a brand whose evaluation status is marked “finalized” by the World Health Organization (WHO). An up to date list can be found on a link at this page.
Please be aware that due to the nature of COVID-19, Quark boarding requirements may change. We will advise you if and when a change takes place.
Specifically, additional advisories or measures may be issued by applicable governmental or public health entities, such as but not limited to the federal government of the United States, the World Health Organization (WHO) or the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Such advisories could require booster shots for immunization coverage from future variants of COVID-19. Quark will continue to monitor advisories from such entities and may revise boarding requirements in response. Also, these requirements in no way affect or supersede any COVID vaccine requirements or any other requirements instituted by the country where you will embark on the voyage or any other countries you may have to travel through. You should to check all travel requirements carefully before departure.
This requirement came into effect on July 14, 2021. If you booked after that date then our standard change and cancellation terms apply. If you booked before that date and you are not vaccinated, and either can’t or don’t want to become vaccinated, Quark will assess your vaccination status 40 days prior to departure. If at that time your status does not comply with our requirement, then you may submit a request for refund and the refund will be issued.
