Holiday was very well organised and itinerary very varied. Enjoyed being part of a smaller group and local guide, food and hotel all excellent.
Walk to Ravello and time spent there, Path of the Gods walk and opportunities to swim in the sea at the end of both walks.
Nico was very attuned to the group's needs and wishes, had excellent local knowledge and worked hard to ensure that everyone had the best experience they could on this holiday - and also had a great sense of humour!
We very much liked the leadership, helpfulness, humor, skilled perceptions and knowledge of our guide Paolo. Variety and pace of activities were great. Quality of accommodations was high, service was excellent and we really liked the convenience of meals and access to hikes.

Visiting places that you would only know of if you were local to the area. Fantastic scenery that you would only see if you're walking...i.e. It can't be seen from the road. Having the benefit of our fantastic guide, Roberta. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about every place we went, had a fantastic rapport with everyone we met...from other guides and cattleowners on the trails to the local retailers in the cafes and restaurants we visited.

The Staff at Due Torres were exceptional and our guide Teresa was outstanding. Teresa was very knowledgeable and kept the entire group informed. She was very conscious of the physical abilities of everyone in the group and made plenty of rest breaks and water stops.
The scenery around the Amalfi coast is so spectacular but our guide Teresa, and the cohesiveness of the ground made the entire week very special.
Teresa was excellent. She was extremely helpful, compassionate and understanding during the entire week. On her off day she made sure everyone was taken care of and returned to the hotel at the end of the day. Teresa was a huge part of our level of satisfaction with the entire experience. We would request Teresa if we do another trip where she is a leader.
I realized I left my hiking shoes at home while at the airport. I made a phone call to see if “Exodus” could find out if I could purchase shoes before our hike the next day. I received a return call within 10 minutes. I could purchase shoes and just talk to our tour guide. The were so good that our tour guide, Terese, knew of my situation before I arrived and asked me about it before I could ask her. I was very impressed about the team work from Exodus.
Teresa, our tour guide was great. She kept us well informed about the next days schedule and very encouraging. The views from our hikes were amazing. A great group of co-hikers.

Nico was terrific — communicated very clearly, responded quickly to questions on our WhatsApp group, led our hikes carefully, ensured we were all safe and comfortable, and provided a wealth of information about what we were seeing and doing. He had helpful suggestions for activities and places to visit that he wasn’t directly leading, and made sure we knew what to expect every day. He’s also funny and sociable.
I loved everything about hike. It was so well organized. The hikes themselves were spectacular and the free time to explore was so great. Our guide Mattia was laid back, patient and kept the group amused. Highly recommend!
All the hiking but the guided tour around the volcano was amazing.
Mattia was excellent at keeping us amused and together. He should great patience when required and was an absolute dream to deal with. Most importantly I always felt safe and looked after with him.
The itinerary was varied and packed. I enjoyed being in a local environment and feeling genuinely looked after by a happy and incredibly helpful staff.
The Path of the Gods walk was my highlight. I loved walking the coast, being shown the local agricultural traditions. Being led by a guide (Paolo Longo) who had so much care for our well being and enjoyment. Paolo had detailed local knowledge which he imparted and listened to what we wanted and adapted for us. We were an older group and led us in stretching exercises to prepare us for walking.
Paolo was approachable, very helpful, fun, informative and respectful of everyone's ability. He went beyond his role to provide suggestions of places to visit and provided lots of information via the WhatsApp group he created. He appeared even on the free day to ensure we each knew what we were doing for the activity we had chosen.
We had a wonderful week walking the quieter part of the Amalfi Coast, seeing the coastline, beaches, small villages, wooded areas and climbing down a LOT of steps but they were worth the effort and aching legs to arrive in wonderful places!
The hotel is lovely with very welcoming staff and the food is traditional home made Italian which is really nice!
We enjoyed the little extras too like the pizza making and tasting evening, the kitchen tour and a visit to the local cheese maker (THE best ricotta cheese we have ever tasted!) We didn’t want to leave!
Turning the corner and seeing the Vesuvius crater for the first time! Visiting Ravello which is a gorgeous little village and much quieter than bustling Amalfi!
Veriano had a great sense of humour and shared his knowledge of the local area with us. He built in lots of rest stops, especially when negotiating the many, many, many, many steps! He always ensured that everybody was happy and didn't feel rushed which made it a good experience all around!
The best bit of advice is to train for the thousands of steps that you will walk on, especially 'step down' exercises to lessen the burden on your knees or use poles if you are confident with them. There were 3 walking and 1 sightseeing group at the hotel at the same time as us so be prepared for itinerary changes-we ended up walking 3 back to back 7 mile walks which can be challenging! Come prepared and have a fantastic time!
