Most Inspirational Moment
The Czech countryside was a lovely surprise. It's hilly at the start but nothing too tough if you're reasonably fit and we had some lovely downhills too and some cracking views. Every day had special moments, often the surprise of suddenly finding yourself in a forest or the joy of seeing the vastness of the Danube in the last few days.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Jan was absolutely superb. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the areas we visited and our group really appreciated his thoroughness. We also loved the frequent inpromptu stops to pick and eat whatever fruit Jan spotted en route. Top tip - if you want to try lots of fruits you might not get at home make sure you ride near Jan! Jan was also great company - loads of fun - and I also really liked that he wanted everyone to ride at their own pace. This meant everyone felt comfortable and as a smaller group we made really quick progress.
Advice for Potential Travellers
This trip has a great mix of country and city and it's a brilliant way to get to know something about 4 different countries in just 11 days. It's definitely worth travelling to Prague the day before - it's a lovely city and very welcoming and accessible. Budapest at the end feels very big, busy and urban in contrast to the rest of the trip but I enjoyed having some extra time to explore it.
