Nhung was an excellent tour leader. Friendly, knowledgeable and full of life she was always telling us something and happy to share details of her family experience to bring history to life (not in a political way, just human interest). She kept us informed at every step, arranged activities that were outside the tour if people requested, and really looked after everyone. She was excellent. Carry on using her as a guide!
The trip I participated in was a good mixture of moving around the countries (Vietnam and Cambodia) as well as spending time visiting key cultural sites. The guide in Vietnam, Binh, was very good. He was organized, informed, friendly and kept us all safe, entertained nand updated on changes to the itinerary due to the flooding. ne important point is that the replacement of Hué by Ninh Binh was a great success. I would go as far to say that that was the best part of the trip. There were many places to visit and activities to do. It was also enjoyable to see some countryside instead of another city. Even though there were different nationalities and ages, we were a cohesive group of people of similar interests who mixed well and I have the impression that Exodus appeals to my sort of people.

Binh managed to be very sociable without overdoing it. He is a credit to your organization.
In a couple of action packed weeks we were able to experience the extraordinary variety of the Vietnamese landscape and culture, including beautiful coastal and mountain vistas, lively cities, colourful and inspiring temples, historic sites, engaging cultural events and wonderful food.

Sailing for a day and a night through the breathtaking vistas of Ha Long Bay in a luxurious boat exclusive to our group, like a private yacht!

Huy Nguyen was a knowledgeable, engaging and highly efficient guide and organiser, who brought the places we visited to life, but on top of that he added a very special personal touch, in that he was alert to the needs of every individual in the group and went out of his way to respond positively to the specific requirements of individuals and to reassure individuals who were worried.
Advice for Potential Travellers
Be prepared for very hot weather and (when we were there in November): very heavy rain
Such a great service from start to finish, the holiday schedule shows the key areas of interest in each country and there is a highlight each day to add to the memory bank. Our tour guide was first class

Jay is such an asset to Exodus, he was calm at all times, knowledgeable and good fun. Nothing was too much bother and he provided such good recommendations. Quite often the whole group went out to dinner together in the evenings. It was such a great holiday and I have come home with such great memories.
I booked at the last minute and the tour exceeded all expectations. The pace, itinerary and activities were varied and provided many interactions with the local culture, for example the wonderful hotel locations made it easy to explore the local areas. The tour leader was truly exceptional in his communication, safety procedures, encouraging passenger comradery, and proving information of local, cultural and historical interest.
Most Inspirational Moment
I really felt that I experienced the food and culture of Vietnam with all the included and suggested visits to a variety if important national sites such as the Ho Chi Mihn Mausoleum, My Son, the Junk overnight trip, the train trip, the Rickshaw ride, the Mekong Delta visit among other places. Safety information provided by Huy helped me to feel safe, be cautious when necessary, and aware when needed as he always placed our safety first.

He was the best leader that I have ever encountered. I have worked in the travel industry and took my first tours to Europe and the UK in 1985, across Canada in 1986 and many more since so I am very aware of what I consider to be an excellent experience and Huy was above and beyond, really the best ever!

The trip was absolutely brilliant and exceeded every expectation. The best holiday we have undertaken as a family in recent years.

Almost everything was amazing. Each location with its own unique atmosphere and charms. If forced to pick a highlight.... then Halong Bay was delightful and dream like; the train overnight was amazing; Hoi An was equally stunning.

He is beyond excellent. He is quite frankly the best tour guide and coordinator I have ever experienced. Every waking moment was trying to make our experience better and the whole group just learnt to trust his judgement and accept his suggestions. He knew every short cut; every great restaurant off the beaten track; how to avoid other tourists. I wish he worked for me. A truly outstanding individual that I would score 100 out of 100 if given the chance.
Well organised, excellent communications and support. Very supportive of local people / local businesses and supporting local charities. Environmentally aware. Trips are well organised, comprehensive and always excellent guides.

Too many to say but overall our guide, Linh Vo was the highlight as he made sure that everyday / activity was a highlight in itself.

I cannot rate Linh highly enough - if he can be awarded a bonus, then he more than deserves one. He was extremely well organised, paid attention to every small detail, and communicated clearly what was going on at each stage of the trip. He explained to us a wide range of aspects about Vietnamese culture and history, which was interesting / fascinating and added much 'value' to the places we visited.
This was a thoroughly wonderful adventure that exceeded my expectations. We had a lovely group of folks to travel with and a fantastic tour leader.

Tu was a wonderful leader. He always went the extra mile to make sure everyone and everything was taken care of. Entire trip ran smoothly and it was highly educational and also a lot of fun.
This trip had so many contrasting experiences and enchanting surprises along the way. It was quite a full itinerary but not arduous.

Difficult to choose one from so many….but I think the experiences in Hoi An were amazing; cycling through the countryside and seeing the lanterns at night

Huyen was perfect in every way. We all adored her. She was exceptionally well organised, generous with her time, nothing was too much trouble, knowledgeable, empathetic to our needs, funny and just a beautiful person.
Advice for Potential Travellers
We were glad we took thin blow up mattresses for the train. Getting VND currency was no problem from ATMs.
