The Cafe Project

In 2018, Exodus contributed £5,000 to Amal non-profit – a non-profit restaurant and café in central Marrakesh which serves as a training centre to empower local women through culinary skills. At Amal, students receive training in the hospitality industry over a six-month training course. Their experience at Amal enhances their future employment prospects and equips them with the skills necessary to enter an occupation in restaurants, hotels, and riads. By September 2018, Exodus had facilitated over 200 graduations from the training course.

If you have ventured to the Red City with Exodus before then the chances are you have visited Amal. If you are planning to travel to Morocco with us, then be sure to pay the women of Amal a visit. You can expect delicious food and even better service. 

Amal Women’s Training Center & Moroccan Restaurant

Since 2013 our original philanthropic restaurant and training center in Gueliz has been providing our trainees with practical work experience and feeding happy guests a variety of seasonal Moroccan and international dishes. Visit us for breakfast or lunch for a taste of all our trainees’ hard work!
