Walking in Trins, the Austrian Tyrol

5
Our walking group came to Trins to experience the breathtaking Austrian scenery and we were not disappointed. Chris and Bob, the two leaders, gave us plenty of opportunity to sample walks of differing levels and we all enjoyed the spectacular views and abundance of alpine flowers.

Malta and Gozo Family Holiday

Malta And Gozo Family Holiday

5
Overall, an excellent trip. Well thought out to suit the needs of families, well paced with lots of time to break off on your own if you wish. Gozo is a place to fall in love with, especially as Malta has become so built up. Xlendi, where the Gozo part of the trip is based, is really gorgeous. The Gozitans are extremely friendly.

Corsica: The GR20

Corsica GR20

5
We enjoyed a combination of excellent weather, a beautiful island with stunning mountains, rivers, flora and fauna, an excellent group of 14 persons who all got on with each other, two experienced and empathetic leaders and good food. We needed all the plus points because the trek is hard and some of the accommodation is basic.

Photographic Safari

This ain't your usual safari...

5
Where do I begin... if your objective is to come home with some gorgeous photographs of truly wild animals in one of the finest wilderness areas on the planet, this is the trip for you. But be under no illusion, it's hard work. If you're looking forward to your nutmeg pancakes (Paul's breakfast insult of choice, it seems!) before a leisurely morning, look elsewhere. If you want to be in the right place, right time, this is it. Lion cubs a-plenty, cheetah family at play - and on the hunt, a close encounter with a leopard, this had it all. And when we were back at camp, we couldn't have been in greater luxury.
