Having walked in every continient and completed 11 Exodus trip I feel reasonably well qualified to judge that three of the walks we did on the trip should be included in anyones top day walks of the world. Knowledgeable local staff had the language skills for me to learn more about African wildlife on this trip than two previous safaris. This trip comes very highly recommended by me.

Highlights of Northern India

Would recommend this holiday to all travellers, its a wonderful experience and a chance to learn so much about the culture of an amazing country. Every day you experienced something new and you thought the trip couldn't get any better but every day brought new experiences and you never wanted the journey to end. A well thought out and planned holiday by the company and the guide who was so knowledgeable he made the experience better than you could of wished. This trip has been wonderful more than words can express and its made memories of a lifetime, look out India I am set to return!

Trekking in the Chin Hills

A wonderful trip trip in an area where few tourists have been. We experienced incredible hospitality and learnt about the culture and beliefs of the Chin Hills people.  We trekked on paths connecting the villages and the scenery was varied with stunning valley views, rolling hills and tropical rainforest. Many of the women of the Chin Hills are adorned with tatooed faces and tribal jewellery so visually it is quite something.

Not quite as described, but a great trip all the same. For example, on the first day in the Tetons, we had a cable car ride to a summit where most of the group milled around until the decent. Likewise, the Amphitheatre Lake walk did not happen-we went to Jenny Lake instead. Be prepared to read the trip notes as not entirely accurate, and be flexible.

Exodus Response

We have reminded all of our leaders to take insurance details at the beginning of the trip, that tipping is discretionary and that all optional excursions must be clearly explained to every group; we are confident this will ensure that no one misses out on any of the exceptional walking available. We are very glad that Steve had a great trip overall - Trip Manager, Yellowstone Wildlife Walks

Classic Inka Trail

The Inka Trail is a lovely trek. Beautiful and varied scenery throughout, with the added bonus of seeing Machu Pichu at the end. Cusco is beautiful and the people were lovely. A very enjoyable trip.

The whole customer experience, from booking your trip, to the flight, and the holiday itself is very important to us. We appreciate your comments regarding the group flights and are considering alternative options for next year, whilst maintaining our competitive Inca Trail package prices.

Walking the Amalfi Coast

This was a great holiday combining walking with seeing the area and visiting some sites such as Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius. The views were spectacular and the walks well planned and thought out.

Cycling the Chateaux of the Loire Valley

Fantastic holiday. Had everything you could ask for - beautiful and varied scenery, lovely cycle routes, amazing chateaux to visit, beautiful food and wine. In fact I was very surprised to hear Exodus is discontinuing the trip as it was such a great itinery.

The trip was super excellent - the landscape serene, soothing and calming. The views are astoundingly spectacular, especially so when you get to the top of the majestic mountains - and there is no dearth of climbing opportunities on this trip. Some of these climbs were quite adventurous (remembering the zig zag path at the top of Tribulanhutte) where the incline is as high as nearly 65-70 degrees and the walking ledges quite narrow, but don't let the description unnerve you because you will love it once you have done it. The landscape is full oy colourful heather, snowcapped mountains, summer flowers of various hues, painterly huts, spiralling valleys, gently meandering river streams... All the elements to de stress you in the most natural way. The hotel we stayed in - Wienerhof, was very pleasant, clean and spacious. The food served on all the days was superlatively delicious. The staff is very welcoming and attentive to your needs. As with all group holidays, there are lot of socialising opportunities and since everyone is interested in walking, you have one common thing to start with all of them. :) Overall, I am fully satisfied with the trip and the fond memories will linger in my mind and heart for a long time to come.
