A week full of unashamed laughter!!

I booked this trip as a total novice in winter sports, and after spending a week experiencing a whole range of snow related activities, I’m completely hooked! I enjoyed fabulous scenery, I learnt new skills, I laughed out loud and had enormous fun, I ate great food, I met lovely people and I completely switched off from the stresses of work.

Mountains, Temples & Hill Stations

Truly epic trip through the holy places of Northern India... "Indeed"

5
This was a truly spectacular trip introducing us to some utterly enchanting, captivating and magical places. It really felt as if we were off the beaten track until the last couple of days when we arrived in Delhi and Agra. We visited many small, beautiful, authentic Indian villages where the only tourists that were ever seen were probably on this trip! We visited many temples from various faiths, some of the tiny Hindu temples were amazing, including the rock cut temple at Masroor. But others were just as spectacular including the Tibetan temples in McLeod Ganj, and we finished in Agra to visit the Mughul monuments including the spectacular Taj Mahal. Visiting so many small places off the beaten track really allowed us to experience the amazing, beautiful, open hearted people of India, which was one of the highlights for me. The Viceroy's Toy Train from Shimla to Kalka was also a amazing experience. A highly recommended trip , and a perfect introduction to an awesome country away from the hassle and chaos of the tourist hot spots.

Quite superb. The setting, the activities, the accommodation, the food and especially the staff were all exceptional. The Arctic Circle in Finland is stunningly beautiful with vast expanses of pristine snow and silent forests. You really do feel a million miles from the rat race.

Everest & Gokyo Lakes Circuit

Worth the extra few days!

5
If you want to see Everest Base Camp and climb Kala Pattar but don't just want to go up the valley and back down again, this is the trip to choose assuming you can spare the extra few days. This longer circuit, taking in both Gokyo Ri and one of the High Passes (Cho La), is well worth it: it's quieter, has stunning views in its own right and will allow you more acclimatisation time prior to the regular Everest bits. I can safely say it was the most varied, wonderful and fulfilling 15 days' walking I've ever done, and I'd recommend it to anyone with two feet and a head for heights.

Discover Costa Rica

discovering Costa Rica

5
An absolutely tip top trip. Our guide, Pedro Bolanos, was amazing. The trip takes in so many aspects of this very interesting country. The travel can be quite long, but still very interesting as we passed by so many amazing places. Two days in each place is about right - but then again, we could have stayed longer in virtually every one, needing a three week trip! The lodge at Esquinas is a real experience, just lovely.

Exodus Response

Hi Carolyn,
It's great to hear that you had such an incredible time in Costa Rica! Thank you for your time writing such a lovely review. I just wanted to follow up your comment regarding the hummingbird feeders - unfortunately this practice is seen more frequently in the Cloud Forest than elsewhere. I have discussed your comments with our local operator and they are following up with the hotel concerned, as Pedro has done already. As one of the first few companies to achieve the Certification for Sustainable Tourism for Tour Operators (CTO-TO) our local partner will be recommending to the hotel that instead of sugar water they plant more flowers to attract hummingbirds. Peru Explorer - Premium

Wonderfully memorable trip

4
I had started thinking about travelling to Peru 10 tears before finally biting the bullet and booking this trip. The itinerary was the broadest available, giving the opportunity to see many different parts of this beautiful and varied country. I loved my trip and got everything I wanted from it - the chance to see a new place with the hassle taken out as someone else was dealing with logistics, to meet new people both in the group and in country, to be taken out of my comfort zone and my daily routine to get a refreshed perspective.

Cape Town & the Garden Route

Garden Route quite simply amazing

5
So lucky to have shared this trip with such a great group of people. Amazing scenery especially the rugged coasts, I could have spent days watching the waves crashing on the rocks at Tsitsikamma and Hermanus. Great accommodation and food, and really good value for money. One of the best Exodus trips I have done.

This trip was a brilliant introduction to southern India with a hectic but extremely well organised itinerary. There was a lot of travelling but so much to see along the way that sitting on the bus was never boring.
