News just in from our International Sales Manager Andrew Appleyard – the migration has arrived in the Masai Mara! Our wildlife experts have been waiting with bated breath for news of the migration’s whereabouts.

While our Marketing Director Jae missed out by just a couple of weeks, it was Andrew that was lucky enough to be in the right place at the right time. Just two weeks ago, he witnessed throngs of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle cross over from the Serengeti and head towards the Mara River.

“The choice between morning rush hour on the Mara River or the Northern Line wasn’t a difficult one to make, and it turns out wildebeest form more orderly queues than London commuters! I’ve enjoyed a few safaris in my time, but the sheer scale of the migrationis incomparable. It was incredibly special to witness the herd’s arrival, although a few local residents were clearly startled by the sudden mass immigration from Tanzania…” ~ Andrew Appleyard, July 2015
