Sri Lanka Tours

A tropical paradise of golden Buddhist stupas, verdant tea plantations and majestic wildlife

Beyond the tea. Into the ritual.

With sandy, palm-fringed beaches, jewelled cultural treasures and magical chance encounters with elephants all on offer, a Sri Lanka tour has a magic all of its own.

On your Sri Lanka trip, why not visit the ancient rock fortress at Sigiriya, rising high above the rainforest canopy; see elephants in their natural environment tugging at the grass and grazing on palm fronds; and watch out for darting leopards too.

Discover rare species and the gemstones that first drew travellers here. Explore paddy fields by bike; lose yourself in maze-like rows of highland tea plantations; and let juddering tuk tuks zip you through the underbrush to hidden expanses of beach.

Our tours in Sri Lanka provide a fantastic mix of culture, history, people, food, wildlife and beaches, and Exodus – with the help of our expert local guides – promises to get you closer to the action than anyone else.

How long are the Sri Lanka trips?

Our incredible Sri Lanka tours start at 8 days (excluding flights) and extend all the way to 15 days. Soak up as much or as little of this awe-inspiring culture as you want and pick from a variety of Sri Lanka tour durations. No matter if you want a whistle stop tour of the very best of what the Island of Serendipity has to offer, or a more comprehensive and immersive 14 nights experience discovering the north, south and everything in between, we have a Sri Lanka tour for everyone.

Sri Lanka is a magical country that over-delivered against every expectation we had before embarking on our adventure. The trip itself includes a huge range of inspiring activities. Some are big, some are just the little in-between moments, but all have their own magic. I genuinely can’t think of a moment we didn’t really enjoy.

It’s a country with a fairly recent challenging history, and we learned on our holiday that some of those challenges haven’t gone away. Despite this, the country exudes happiness. Our excellent guide, Roshan, told us this was simply because the one thing Sri Lankans have is time. I don’t really buy that. I just think it’s culturally ingrained.

Michael Crook Discover Sri Lanka

This trip was more than a holiday. It really helped you get under the skin of Sri Lanka and it’s people. From visiting temples and monuments, catching a sight of the varied wildlife or experiencing lunch with a local family, this trip really had it all. Whilst it was a full-on, busy tour, I still felt relaxed and refreshed upon my return home, mainly due to the fact that everything in the tour had been so well organised and planned. A plan B was ready for when the trek deemed not possible due to the rain and Roshan our tour leader took everything in his stride and made the guiding of the trip seem effortless.
