The whole trip was absolutely outstanding. As a 17 year old soloing this adventure, I felt incredibly included and appreciated within the group which significantly added to the entire trip.

Rowen Cumiskey Tour du Mont Blanc Camping TrekThe whole trip was absolutely outstanding. As a 17 year old soloing this adventure, I felt incredibly included and appreciated within the group which significantly added to the entire trip.
Michael Kingsbury Tour du Mont Blanc Camping TrekJust back from superb Tour de Mont Blanc 2w camping trek. The scenery was stunning each and every day, the days were full and active, we camped in the most beautiful locations and were fortunate to have the most friendly approachable and knowledgeable leader Agu and camping manager/chef Keiron, both of whom were brilliant and couldn’t have made the trip run better. I’m glad we didnt do the hotel version. Cant recommend this trip enough!
James Bulpin Tour du Mont Blanc Camping TrekThe scenery was stunning throughout. Each day’s walk gave a different experience, both the views and the walking profiles. The itinerary is such that the difficulty of the walking generally increases over the course of the tour. It’s worth noting that the itinerary does leave a few small gaps in the TMB route. The camping was generally enjoyable (we had very good weather on most days but the one wet night did make the camping experience a little more challenging). All campsites, even the ones noted as “basic” had showers, and several had extensive facilities. However, it seems to be common practice in the area to not have toilet seats. Breakfasts and lunches were basic and somewhat repetitive, but the dinners were excellent and varied. The pace of the tour is high, with very early starts most days. Our leader Hristian, and camping manager/chef Kieron, were fantastic. We used our first rest day to take the Skyway Monte Bianco and Panoramic Mont Blanc cable cars to the Aiguille du Midi – if the weather is good, we strongly recommend this amazing experience.

Start by thinking about:
On many tours, there are options to shorten hikes or take alternative routes. Your tour leader will always support you and help find a suitable option where possible. Our hiking experts are always happy to help you find the perfect match.
Most hiking vacations include accommodation, an expert tour leader, all in-country transport and guided hikes, plus some meals.
International flights, travel insurance, and some meals are usually not included, but we can often help arrange flights for you.
A typical day usually begins with breakfast and a briefing from your tour leader, followed by a guided hike through some of the destination’s most scenic landscapes. Hikes may include stops for photos, rest breaks or points of interest along the way.
Afternoons might include more hiking, time to relax, or optional activities, while evenings are often spent enjoying local cuisine or exploring your surroundings with the group.
Solo travel doesn’t have to feel daunting. With Exodus, you’ll join a small group, led by an experienced tour leader who prioritizes safety, giving you the confidence to travel further and explore deeper. Every hiking tour is different, so make sure you check your itinerary. Consider the terrain and the weather at your chosen destination and set time aside to research the climate expected during your hiking tour. Sturdy hiking boots with good ankle support are essential, as well as appropriate socks to reduce rubbing.
A hot climate will require a sun hat, sunglasses and appropriate clothing, such as shorts and t-shirts made from breathable materials. Hiking trips in destinations with hotter climates, such as those in deserts, can plunge to chilly temperatures at night, so be sure to bring layers, particularly if you are camping. Some countries also experience heavy or intermittent rainfall, so a waterproof is recommended.
A detailed packing list is provided for each tour after booking.
You can choose from a wide range of hiking vacations to suit different interests, fitness levels, and destinations. Options include guided small-group hiking tours or self-guided tours, depending on how you prefer to travel.
Styles range from relaxed scenic hikes and coastal trails to more challenging multi-day mountain treks. Whether you’re looking for cultural discovery, time in nature, or a physical challenge, there’s a hiking tour to match your pace and travel style.
