Thoughts on Group Leader
Both leaders were great... Aldrin went above and beyond to ensure our expectations were met and was extremely helpful in organising snorkelling/ island trip on the day off.

Wonderful trip. Really good itinerary. Fabulous scenery and wildlife. Good blend of local culture and wildlife. Both local guides, Nizam in Sarawak and Aldrin Kodiig in Sabah were fantastic…… friendly, helpful, informative and made it a wonderful trip. Our driver Jack in Sabah was great too, as were the local park guides.

We had a great time and excellent experience on our trip to Sri Lanka. Having been on holiday with Exodus before we continue to be extremely pleased with the service offered and our guide Suresh was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and went out of his way to ensure we experienced everything Sri Lanka had to offer. We continue to recommend Exodus to our friends and family, some of whom have booked to go on holiday via Exodus.
Visiting Lion Rock, visiting the Elephant Sanctuary, riding through the tea plantations, experiencing the sights and sounds of towns as well as countryside by bike.
Suresh went out of his way to ensure we had the best, most memorable time. Nothing was too much trouble. He was very knowledgeable, and so enthusiastic about his work and Sri Lanka. He has been one of the best tour guides we have experienced and made the whole trip thoroughly enjoyable.
This tour was well paced and a great introduction to South Africa, especially for travelers who enjoy exploring the world and finding the unexpected. One of the biggest surprises was the food. The cuisine was so unique and, as our guide advised us, plentiful. Paired with excellent South African wine, you are completely spoiled. Don’t hesitate to try new things such as Bobotie or ostrich.
All of the areas we visited were beautiful. I particularly loved Hermanus with its charming vibe and a spectacular whale watch, and I will dream of Tsitsikamma for a long time. Gazing into tide pools and spotting a beautiful octopus was incredible. Of course, a big part of Africa is the wildlife and this tour gives you plenty of exposure to many of the animals you hope to see. The elephants at Addo felt like something out of a movie. Cape Town is also fascinating. I had no idea the Cape of Good Hope was so vast. The beauty cannot be surpassed. We were lucky enough to have a perfect view at the top of Table Mountain, as well. The people are incredibly kind and friendly wherever you go and it we enjoyed experiencing the mixture of cultures.
The accommodations on this tour vary, but we enjoyed them all. The guesthouse in De Rust was so special as the hosts cooked incredible meals for us each night and treated us like special friends.
All in all, the time in South Africa was something I will never forget. The people, the scenery, the animals, the food…all of it was so much more than what I expected.
Meeting a beautiful octopus in a tide pool and being surrounded by giraffes on a game ride.
Petro felt more like a friend than a group leader. She is so proud of her country and it was inspiring to see it through her eyes.
Being prepared will make the trip easier. Load the Uber app if you don't already have it. Pack some flashlights and a backup phone charger. I am so glad I followed the trip notes because the power was out a few times. Layers are your friend on this trip because the weather changes quite a bit. Enjoy!
The trip was truly wonderful. Well organised and we went to beautiful locations and saw lots of wildlife.
Boat trip in Tortuguero. Walk in Arenal National park. The stay and walk at Manuel Antonio.
He was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is obvious that he has a real interest in nature and wildlife.
the local tour company was ran amazingly well – only positives things to say about the trip guides. They knew their country and went above and beyond to share its highlights with us.
The entire trip was an epic adventure and it is very hard to select particular highlights, however the optional tours at swakopmund added a little extra - (dolphin cruise/quads/sandboarding) - riding into the desert and appreciating its sheer size was breathtaking.
Fantastic local knowledge, extremely personable, amazingly organised and went above and beyond to make the trip everything and more for us. Can not praise him enough.
Really well organised trip.
Cycling enabled me to see the true essence of Sri Lanka. There was an amazing mixture of experiences
Amazing leader. Amazing attention to detail, meticulous planning and an incredible desire for all to understand the culture and history of the country. Sehrish worked incredibly hard to ensure everyone saw what they wanted to see and had the best possible time away. Great cycling leader, keeping the group together whilst giving everyone the freedom to cycle at their own pace.
Our premium hiking experience in the Dolomites with Exodus surpassed our expectations- the scenery, hotel accommodations, food, guide and hiking group were first rate. The choice of trails and the advice given for our day off were spot-on. I recommend this trip without reservation for everyone who enjoys a challenging itinerary in a breathtakingly beautiful environment!
The early morning climb to the Tre Cime de Lavaredo, before the tourists arrived
Mark Brown was our guide. Everyone in our 14-person group admired his skill, tact, thoughtfulness and expert information. He looked out for everyone in the group and was always available to offer suggestions, encouragement and insights to local customs and history.
Poles and lighter weight hiking boots or trail shoes for the rocky ground. Come prepared to take on both challenging ascents and descents and to enjoy wonderful accommodations and food at the Hotel Adler!

Lukas went well out of his way to accommodate peoples preferences etc. He was engaging, fun and very knowledgeable, telling us lots everywhere we went and on the bus. And interacted well with the local guides. I would recommend him to others
