It’s hard to believe that this time last week I was climbing an epic Himalayan cliffside staircase on the Bhutan pilgrimage to Tiger’s Next Monastery!
This amazing trip also visited the annual Thimphu festival where we watched the colourful dancing monks, it flew me over Everest and the 5 highest peaks in the world (sightings are weather dependent), and took me inside one of Asia’s largest golden Buddha statues to view 125 000 mini golden Buddhas.

This trip exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The proximity to the wildlife was extraordinary, the range of wildlife was exceptional and the entire experience is unforgettable. The trip is tough, early starts, lots of dust and bumpy roads but the rewards make all of this worthwhile and part of the experience.
