In focus: The Nile

Feluccas are single-masted wooden boats that have been sailing the Nile since ancient times. Cleopatra and Julius Caesar spent nine months exploring Egypt this way, accompanied by a 400-strong flotilla.

A felucca trip between Aswan and Luxor gives you the chance to witness the landscape of the Nile Valley, and the lavish tombs of the Valley of the Kings. At night you'll sleep on deck, which is strewn with colourful rugs. From here watch the golden late-afternoon sun dissolve into a spectacular sunset.

Are flights included on your trips to Egypt?

Yes they are. Most of our Egypt holidays include flights, however if you would like to make your own way there, we do offer “land only” bookings. Please speak to a member of our team about this option.

Your flights are priced from London and include all transport from the airport once you arrive in Egypt. Please ensure you take out travel insurance before you begin your journey as well as checking you have all the relevant vaccinations and visas where necessary.
