Hvar is one of the more popular Croatian islands, many lured by the fashionable port town of the same name. Mljet is enchanting – largely unspoilt landscapes, azure waters and hushed forests lure walkers to its shores. Approximately one-third of the island is covered by a national park, which offers an insight into a small piece of Croatia’s heritage.
