Terrain:

The walking around the Kotor Fjord can be very steep in places, particularly on days 3 & 4. The ascent on day 4 is approx. 900m. The walks are on mule paths which are generally well built and stony with large coping stones on the downhill edges. Once you reach the high interior plateau, the going becomes easier, with gradual descents towards Centinje and Lake Skadar.
