While the team made efforts to accommodate my dietry constraints, food could have been better (ie more rice /corn based items)
Marrakech tour could have been better organised

Friends had recommended the Picos de Europa as a good place for a walking holiday. They weren’t wrong. In places the conditions underfoot are similar to the limestone of the White Peak in Derbyshire or the Yorkshire Dales. However, the scenery is much more spectacular and varied as were the flowers and wildlife. Good hotel with friendly, knowledgeable and sociable staff , great food – provided that you have decent weather it would be hard to go wrong.
The panorama of the Naranjo de Bulnes from the La Mesa peak in the Main range of mountains
Alvaro is someone special. He obviously loves the area and was able to find and identify plants, animals and birdlife for us as well as providing information on local history and customs. Where someone in the group had a particular interest he would pick up on this and point things out to them accordingly. He did an excellent job of looking after a group of people with different abilities, taking good care of the less capable/experienced walkers without frustrating those who wished to go at a faster pace
We were fortunate enough to have good weather, but it was obvious from the condition of some of the paths that it could get very muddy in places. Depending on the time of year it would be best to be prepared for this as you might not be so lucky as we were
Superb trip. The island is stunning and the walks were excellent. Would thoroughly recommend it.
We have done several Exodus trips and this one certainly did not disappoint. The split between the two bases was a great contrast from the pretty bay resort to the mountain monastery.
Sitting on mountain tops with a 360 degree view of beautiful landscapes enjoying picnics with wonderful , fresh, local food.
Eduard was just brilliant. His passion for his island shines through and he took the opportunities of water and rest breaks to pass on fascinating information about local customs, the history of the island, flora and fauna. He cares about the group he is leading and ensures that everyone gets as much from the trip as they want. Top chap and a delight to spend time with.
Go! if you haven't been to Mallorca you are missing a real treat and if Eduard is leading the group you will have a great time.
A very beautiful country, not a boring bit to be found on this cycle tour, showed off the best of some stunning scenery.
how welcome we were made to feel and the effort put into producing some wonderful food home grown and reared. The ability of the older element of our group, truly inspirational.
We had two leaders (brothers) Amand and Junid, couldn't have been better, attentive, educational and good company.
Has to be one of the best choices of cycling tours on the market
Fantastic guide,great crowd of people,good hotels.great weather,good food
The cycling and seeing Sicily.
Thomas Gorblich is such a lovely guy with a good sense of humour.he looked after us well.i found him very informative.he had great patience with us all and he's such a good sport.
Only to take a gel seat
I joined a local walking group last Autumn, not very long after my wife died, and found that it got me out of the house, gave me some execise and I met a new group of people. I also saw some stunning areas fairly close to home that were new to me.
Signing up a week’s walking in Mallorca was my first solo trip and I was understandably a little nervous but it proved to be one of my most enjoyable, not to say challenging, holidays.
Some of the walking/climbing was tougher than I was used to, partly because the weather for most of the week was a lot hotter (34c on one day) than expected in May. However I completed all but one days, including the most exacting climb and missed one day later in the week as I wasn’t too well (as did several others in the group)
I intend to go on similar holidays in the future.
There were 16 in the group, all more experienced than me, and they were a very nice bunch.
Getting to the top of Mirador den Quesada at 957m on day 3. I was quite proud of myself, not bad for a 70 year old, and the views and picnic at the top made up for the exhaustion.
I can't praise Eduard too highly. He was helpful, informative and passionate about Mallorca. I hope that any future group leader I meet will come up to his high standards.
Not much. I didn't have all the kit that some of the rest of the group did, but then I have only recently started walking/trecking and will get it sorted for next time.
Loved it all. Albania exceeded everybody’s expectations .Stunning scenery. It was like the Alps, the Highlands and Tuscany all thrown into one!
Day 3 ,with snowcapped mountains providing a fabulous backdrop
Armand and Junid were a first class team. Both very patient, inspirational and proud of their heritage
go soon...
This was a really enjoyable trip with lots of interesting facets.
Walking into San Gimignano.
Liz was fantastic. An example of good-natured, hard-working dedication.
The trip enabled me to achieve my longstanding wish to visit the well-known historic sights of Hecolaneum & Pompeii together with the opportunity to walk amid the stunning scenery of Vesuvius and the Amalfi Coast.
There were many highlights but the views whilst walking on the "Path of the Gods" were breathtaking.
Eduardo had an inside knowledge of the places and its people.
Even in May there were numerous tourists at each of the locations - the Amalfi Coast is no secret but you will probably want to go back again & again.
Very varied … very hot (I went in May) … some of the best walking I’ve done … and definitely the best sandwiches.
Reaching the peak of Puig Campana. I really struggled at the beginning of the week as I'm not an experienced hill walker, and the temperatures were high. I'm also not great with heights and some of the climbs were intense. It was a great feeling to make it to the top and down with the pictures to prove it. Casa Roc - the accommodation in Sella was really special. Amazing views from the apartments and Steve and Liz were great hosts.
Jose Miguel was a fantastic guide. He's really passionate about the area and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and evolution of the landscape. He also lives and breathes sustainable tourism, so we were treated to the best home made sandwiches ever, nisperos from his garden, fresh water from the mountain springs and lunch bags (and napkins) made by his mum.
Take a Camelbak or similar... it's a hassle to try and get your water bottles out of your day pack all the time and you go through a lot of water. And Compeed. Lots of it.
