Well organised trip with an excellent, knowledgeable tour guide. Our driver kept us safe on the chaotic roads.

Could not have been any better
José is such an engaging and encouraging guide. The views from the tops of the mountains were fabulous. José’s explanations of the local area were wide ranging covering the history, agriculture and much more. The walks were at times quite challenging but José was very good at keeping us all together and ensuring everyone was able to manage the walks. His talks strategically placed for recovery on strenuous sections. The lunch sandwiches were fantastic (prepared by Josè). The hotel was comfortable and the food, which was substantial, was prepared by Raquel who runs the hotel. She was always very friendly and welcoming. We made use of the bar and terrace after the walks for a relaxing beer. Definitely take sticks as some downhill sections have loose stones underfoot.
The 360 view from the top of Aitana peak was fantastic. I felt we were on top of the world with the sea visible on multiple sides.
José was amazing. Such a lovely character, kind, entertaining and extremely knowledgeable about the local area as he has been leading groups around Aitana for 25 years!
We hadn’t really walked much before this trip for various reasons, unusually for us. I’d recommend doing some long hill walks before you come to get your legs primed!
We had a wonderful time, packing in an enormous amount in such a short visit. It was clear the organisers had anticipated every step so it went very smoothly.
The Agra Fort and the Taj Mahal at dawn.
He was wonderful. He managed to make being superbly well-organised look effortless and was completely unruffled by any situation. The whole group got on well with him (and each other). It was a memorable and very happy experience.
Everything great apart from the last nights accommodation which was a bit of a let down. Jaipur section was also just a little rushed, but understand the travel distance etc.
Taj Mahal, the food choices were excellent
Excellent guide and a really nice guy
Have never visited South East Asia before and was excited to learn about a new culture. This 14 day trip takes in all the major highlights starting in Hanoi and ending in Ho Chi Minh City.
Hoi An at night with the lanterns and small boats going up and down the river. Eating with a Vietnamese family in their home.
Ashley was the perfect group leader. Organised, calm, full of information with a good sense of humour. Nothing was too much trouble for her.
It's pretty full on so be prepared for some early starts. Try all the different culinary experiences. Get some clothing handmade in Hoi An! The train from Hanoi to Hue is a bit uncomfortable but embrace the experience!
Taj Mahal and Amer Fort. Rickshaw ride and visit to the village.
He was great.
I was very disappointed with our Exodus Trip. The Canadian webpage says that you will be staying in Hotel la Tavernetta, which is a 4-star hotel in Scopello. And that you will be in Daniela’s B&B in San Vito Lo Capo. We didn’t stay in either of these hotels. I didn’t find out that we were not staying in either of these hotels until I had paid in full. I emailed several times once I got my itinerary to ask why. I was told the website had just not been updated. Well, it is still not updated. I chose Exodus as I heard that they chose upgraded hotels and were a cut above other travel operators. Then right off the bat, the hotels were disappointing. I have travelled a fair bit – but mostly independently – so this was the first time using a tour operator. It is much more expensive to use a tour operator – and I truly do not see any value that was provided. It could have been so much better than it was.

Get as much information before you trip as possible. There is a need to plan out your day and truly understand the walk.
Peru is a fascinating country and this trip explores varied terrains including urban areas, mountains, high plains, lake and rainforest. The local people we met on the trip were extremely welcoming and friendly. The country does have an issue with litter on the roadside, even in the National Park areas which is sad to see. Hopefully in time this will improve.
Has to be Machu Picchu! That first sighting as you reach the Sun Gate on the Inca Trail really does take your breath away, an image to live long in the memory.
Our tour leader Paul Garrido did an amazing job of organising, guiding, informing and assisting. He was with us from arrival at Lima airport to departing for home. Nothing was too much trouble and he made it clear he was contactable 24 hours a day. His lively personality really made it feel as though he was one of the group, and I genuinely believe he was a significant factor in the trip being so memorable.
Don't underestimate the potential issues related to being at altitude. You may experience some mild effects - I woke up in the mornings with a headache, but this could be alleviated with a couple of paracetamol. Embrace the culture. Dine on alpaca and guinea pig (unless you're vegetarian) even if you don't order it a second time. Drink at least one Pisco sour.
The trip gave us an excellent insight into both Vietnam and Cambodia (culturally & historically) and was most enjoyable.
Ha Long Bay, Hoi An and the Cu Chi Tunnels. We also learnt about the dreadful long-term effects of Agent Orange affecting second and third generations. We were prepared by having read 'Vietnam (An Epic History of a Tragic War)' by Max Hastings.
Than Vu was exceptional and ensured that Shelagh was provided with the necessary support throughout the time in Vietnam. He was very knowledgeable and happy to discuss the war and politics. Phan Sotheavy was also very solicitous and happy to give historical background
Excellent accommodation, well organised, fabulous experiences . Our guide, Petro, was fantastic, not only making sure all arrangements in order but also sharing with us her in-depth knowledge of South Africa’s history & culture
All but especially Amakhala Game Reserve & Stellenbosch. Accommodations at Stellenbosch, Amakhala & Cape Town were excellent
Petro was a fantastic group leader and would do anything to help. She had everything well organised & gave us a wonderful insight into the culture & history of South Africa. She socialised with the group & made it such a fun, interesting trip. A great asset to Exodus
