We can book extra nights’ accommodation before or after your trip in many locations around the world, and in some places, we have multi-day extensions available. Similarly, you may like to break your journey with a stopover en route. If this is something you are interested in, please speak to your sales representative who can also advise you on the best flights to match your requirements.

Each trip departure has either a specified rendezvous point and time to correspond with a group transfer, or a free transfer to your start hotel, where you will meet your guide and group. Our team will discuss these details with you to ensure you know where you need to be and when, and organise flights and transfers for you accordingly. If you’d like to plan ahead, please refer to the Joining Instructions section of the Trip Notes for each trip for more information.

Most airlines release their flights 11 months before departure so if you’re booking further ahead than that, let us know what you think you’d like to do, and we’ll contact you once the flights are released. We recommend securing your place on the trip as soon as possible and we’ll contact you to discuss your flight options as soon as they are available.

For a number of our most popular trips, we work with the airlines to pre-book seats for our customers, which guarantees the fare at the most popular times of year. For simplicity, these flights are always from one of the London airports, but are yours, subject to availability, if you’re looking at a trip that says ‘Guaranteed flights available from London’. If you are travelling from the UK or Europe, many of our adventures can be reached by train. Not only does this leave a lower carbon footprint than flying, trains offer a more relaxing way to begin your trip, with some often incredible scenery to be enjoyed along the way.
