An enjoyable African adventure – to experience the African sunrises and sunsets in the national parks was amazing. Excellent campfire food and wonderful morning and evening game drives with fantastic animal encounters.
Helicopter ride over Vic falls and Chobe river cruise. Bread cooked over the camp fire.
Brian was very knowledgeable on the locations, animals and flora during the entire trip. He was helpful with daily briefings and organising additional excursions.

Kenny was an excellent leader. He was friendly, cheerful and very knowledgeable. He was keen to share his knowledge with the group and it was great to see his excitment when we saw the Wild Dogs. He led an equally friendly, cheerful and helpful team with Chris, Roland and Yethu
Everything went really well – logistics, travel, accommodation, communication, etc.. The local team was very friendly and helpful – their contributions were a hugely positive part of the trip. The places included in the itinerary were all amazing. The wildlife we saw was quite exceptional.
All places that we visited during the trip offered amazing experiences. The cruise on the Chobe River was particularly stunning, and our sighting of wild dogs was truly memorable.
Brian's knowledge of wildlife and much more was extensive and he communicated it very well - generously and humorously. He applied his excellent interpersonal skills to all the people on the trip and that we encountered. He was very helpful in supporting members of the group whose flight or luggage had been delayed. His simultaneous driving, spotting and informing skills are unparallelled.
We all had an amazing time and would highly recommend this trip.
Obviously visiting Victoria Falls was a major highlight but I equally enjoyed all the game drives and going out into the Okavango Delta. I wasn’t so bothered by the longer walking safari (of which my friend and I didn’t do!) but that was us choosing to read a book in beautiful surroundings instead. We did the two shorter walks.
He was very good with everyone. Seemed very organised. His driving was amazing. His knowledge of birds and identifying them was pretty amazing too. He was friendly and good fun to be around.
Having lived in E. Africa and done many safaris over the years this trip is the cherry on the cake. 4 leopards and a cub and painted dogs were a highlight. Incredible team with Brian at the helm with incredible knowledge and patients. The best food produced by Brighton. And great teamwork from Timoth and Moetie. A truely memorable trip. Just Thank you!

This trip exceeded our expectations in almost every way. The proximity to the wildlife was extraordinary, the range of wildlife was exceptional and the entire experience is unforgettable. The trip was enhanced by the outstanding nature of our group leader, Brian, and the support team, Brighton, Timoth and Moeti. The food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the team. The trip is tough, early starts, lots of dust and bumpy roads but the rewards make all of this worthwhile and part of the experience.
It is impossible to identify one specific moment as the highlight of the trip. Seeing numerous cheetahs in one day, seeing a leopard stalk its prey, seeing a Kori Bustard take off, seeing 6 lion cubs walking nose to tail. Away from the wildlife, Victoria Falls is one of the most magnificent sights we have ever seen.
Our Group Leader was big friendly Brian who was always full of joy and happiness. His in-depth knowledge of Botswana, its fauna and flora was beyond belief. His driving was safe and careful and he always seemed to find the best spots to observe the animals and take photographs.
It is not possible to overstate how dusty and dirty you become travelling on dirt roads in an open sided truck in September. However, bush showers are available which washes most of the dirt and dust off! You wont need as many clothes as you think and you can have laundry done at Maun and Victoria Falls. It does get cool in the middle of the night so sleeping bags are advisable. You do need to be reasonably mobile in order to enter and exit the rear of the truck. Mobile phone service is virtually non existent even with a Botswanan SIM except in Maun.
Our tour guide, Mr Brian and the support team were exceptional. Brian is a superb guide with extensive knowledge of Botswana and the wildlife. The combination of wild camping in the African bush and the array of animals that we saw made it a very unique and memorable experience.
Chobe. Seeing 10 cheetahs in one day, Watching a pride of lions hunting at dawn. Hippos. Listening to the sounds of wild animals from my tent at night. Experiencing the remoteness of the African bush. Sitting round the camp fire at night. Very fortunate to have a great group of people on the trip.
Mr Brian was amazing. Super knowledgeable, good humoured, kept us safe and very hard working. He was a great ambassador for Botswana and Exodus and genuinely wanted us to have a fantastic experience. He and the rest of the team worked really well together to put up tents, cook and generally ensure everything ran smoothly - the logistics were really important for the success of the trip.
Having done a safari in lodges in Kenya 20+years ago, we wanted to experience the adventure of a safari under canvas, getting up close to the wildlife of Botswana. Oh boy! We were not disappointed. This was the most thrilling holiday we’ve ever been on; absolutely sensational. Our leader, Brian, and his team were brilliant, making sure everything ran smoothly and we got the most out of each day. Wild camping is an experience like no other. It’s very down-to-earth, can be very hot and dusty, but is a lot more comfortable than you might think. Our party were all 50+years old but adapted to the camping easily. There are lots of early starts, but who cares when you see so much wonderful wildlife. This is an adventure not to be missed.
There were so many wonderful moments it's hard to choose, but from a wildlife point of view, watching a leopard stalk its prey, right by our vehicle, is very hard to beat. From a geographical point of view, the Victoria Falls are one of the natural 'Wonders of the World' and lived up to that description. They are awe-inspiring.
Mr Brian, our leader, guide and driver was fabulous. He worked non-stop to ensure we had the best experience possible. He and his team made the holiday for us. His ability to get our vehicle in the right place at the right time, to get the best views of the wildlife, was beyond belief. He has such a deep knowledge and love of his country and the animals that is totally infectious and inspired us. He gave thorough briefings each evening and before each drive, and gently guided us, making sure we were up in time to see as much wildlife as possible.
Depending on the time of year you go, this holiday may be very hot and dusty. Everyone in our party decided it was pointless to put clean cloths on each day, so you won't need as many cloths as you think. There are opportunities to get cloths laundered during the two weeks at Victoria Falls and Maun. The water is definitely safe, so take a water bottle you can refill. You'll find you drink a lot of water. Take layers of cloths for night time. We were never cold in 1-2 season sleeping bags at the end of September, but in June-August you might want extra layers. You do need to be reasonably mobile to climb into the back two rows of the vehicle. Bring a scarf to cover your mouth as the drives are very dusty at times.
From getting info and the whole booking process even adding my friend later to the booking. The info provided was very good. And once on our trip it exceeded all my expectations – my friend says it was the best experience of her life. I had grown up in Kenya until I was 20 over 53 yrs ago we had gone on some amazing camping safaris . Kenny. Brighton and Yetu and the Delta polers and guide looked after us amazingly. Very professional. We all felt safe . They were so helpful and patient also so informative. They all seemed to go that extra mile their hospitality was wonderful. Incredible packing up and unpacking the ad hoc picnic lunches on the side of the road amazing salads . Superb evening meals and lunches. Even the comfort stops for 4 ladies! Planned and appropriate.
Everything was a highlight. Even the sand filled shoes all te way back home. We chose to arrive 2 days earlier and stayed independently at Audi Camp which was wonderful and helped us acclimatise after a long journey and.. Our luggage didn't arrive until next day due to tight connection in Johannesburg. But the team at Audi were so helpful. So we were even more grateful having the extra time. We stayed in the v comfortable ensuite tents.
I think our group was a little unusual. But Kenny managed us well. He was v professional at all times. V helpful. But also fun too. He had some long days and a lot of driving. Impressive. Thank you
Fantastic trip to a stunning country with a great guide, cook and team. I’m new to camping and was apprehensive but it was fine and we adjusted much more quickly than expected.
Too many to mention but the mokoro rides in the Okavango Delta, game drives in Savuti, African painted dogs running beside us, watching a lioness eat a baby giraffe or seeing a big group of elephants rushing to the local watering hole were all highlights. I also loved the last night in the Okavango where the local crew sang and danced after dinner.
Brian was amazing. We were 11 people, so a large group and he dealt with the group’s lost luggage, missed connections, my misplaced passport at the Zimbabwean border, etc with equanimity. Brian was also very good at positioning us in advantageous light for those of us who were serious photographers. Mike was a great cook and all the dinners were excellent and the two others were lovely.
Go- you won’t regret it and try camping. We had two eighty year old campers in our group. There’s something amazing about waking up in the morning and seeing all the animal footprints around the campsite or eating breakfast while elephants stroll by.
