Imperial City in Hue & rickshaw ride
The food! Such good quality, in particular the lunch in Hanoi and the vegetarian banquet in Hue. If anything, it was too much of a very good thing

Tbh it was all good - hard to separate out the highlights as it was one big highlight.
Thoughts on Group Leader
A real credit to Exodus. He managed difficult situations with pragmatism, optimism and humour. One of our party broke her leg on Day 1 and Sanh did all he could to facilitate the rest of her holiday. He imparted knowledge of each region, the culture and history of Vietnam and gave us a flavour of day to day life. He is very personable, open and engaging and reminded us of the schedule and shared any health and safety concerns.

Vietnam Highlights
The hotels were very good.
The organisation by the guide was great.
We felt looked after and safe.
The itinerary was very good.
The guide really made the trip. This enabled the group to be cohesive as there was no complaining about the guide. He could not do enough to be informative and caring.
Most Inspirational Moment
I suppose Hoi An as it has a beach, town etc. But en route we went to some caves and they were very interesting. With only 8 days I think I would leave out Hanoi as this necessitates a flight and thats a large part of the day gone. I would have been happy to go to Da Nang, Hue and Hoi An
Thoughts on Group Leader
I cannot say how excellent he was. Such a pleasant man and so willing to assist everybody. He could not have done more. If there were an award then I think he should be considered. I also liked that the Exodus team in Vietnam or I think it was them contacted me via Whats App before the tour started with a few details.

Vietnam Highlights
We had an excellent 8 days trip in Vietnam with many highlights. We met new people & most importantly had a fantastic guide called Lucky, who was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Most Inspirational Moment
We had many highlights - going to the Hanoi Market, visiting many temples, our boat trip to Harlong Bay, our cycling tour around Hoi An and also attending the cookery class.
