Most Inspirational Moment
I think the best part of the holiday is the interaction with the family that run the 2Torri Hotel - Nicola, Giovanni and the leader Eduardo. The kids loved pizza-making, past-making etc in teh hotel kitchen. The leader also arranged trips to a craft-making shop and also a local mozzarella-making farm. These were all little extras that you wouldn't normally get if you organised the holiday yourself.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Eduardo is the star of the holiday. He knows everyone on the Amalfi coast and can fix any problem. The kids loved Eduardo and he is a genuine people person. He even joined in the football match with the kids - so we had an Italian in the team!
Advice for Potential Travellers
I would say this is a very relaxing holiday and the kids will love the pool at the hotel, whenever there is some down town. Don't worry, you can relax in the sun and keep an eye on them at the same time.Take note that this is an expensive place for tourists and the Exodus holiday includes most essentials. However, if you do decide to go eat in the cafe or restaurants in Capri or Positano then expect London prices or more. However, we full-board on most days so just have a budget for ice-creams and a few extra snacks!
Suggestions
There is a reason why this is such a popular holiday - it really covers all the bases for an active holiday. It's also great to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the coast as Bomerano is a lovely friendly village, with local shops and ice-cream parlours. During the hot summer it's also cooler up in the hills. It's also great that most of the travel up and down the coast is by relaxing ferries, from Amalfi to Capri, Positano etc. Last but not least, do you know any kids that don't like pasta, pizza and ice cream! If the kids are happy, you'll be happy!
