We’re excited to celebrate the return of our Exodus Photo Master Competition! Over the years, we’ve noticed how much our like-minded travellers love sharing incredible photos of the places they’ve been with us, and we’ve loved to see them.

This year, our competition will be different. We’d like to invite everyone that has been travelling since January 2020 onwards, to submit their best travel photographs to the Exodus Photo Master Competition. There will be up to 6 winners this year. Not only will each receive a £250 Exodus Travels Gift Card, but they will also have their winning photograph printed in The Exodus 2023 Calendar!

The 2022 Exodus Photo Master Competition theme is Nature First. At Exodus, we aim to improve life through travel, for the places we visit, the people we meet, and the planet which hosts us. And through our Nature First commitment, we want to ensure that everything we do not only reduces any negative impacts on natural ecosystems but proactively seeks to support nature’s regeneration through rewilding projects and conservation which is so vital for our planet’s future.

The question is how do you capture Nature First in a photograph? You could have photos of Mountain gorillas cradling their young in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest while on our Chimps & Gorillas of Uganda Adventure, or three-toed sloths hanging around on our Discover Costa Rica trip? But it doesn’t have to be strictly wildlife. You may have brilliant photos of local Nepalese women who established an Eco Café in Ladakh while trekking in the Marka Valley. It could even be that epic sunset photo you took during lockdown at Durdle Door on our Jewels of the Jurassic Coast Walk. Anything that shows wildlife, people working in harmony with nature, and beautifully wild landscapes is sure to be a contender for our judges!

How do I enter?

All you need to do is simply upload your hi-res image(s) using our form below. Before you hit submit, make sure to fill out all of the fields and include the destination name and your full name in the file name. Also, we’d love to hear the story behind your image, so in a couple of words try to explain why you feel your image ticks the boxes of our Nature First theme.

Entry Requirements

One photographic entry permitted per person.
Photographs must be taken in a destination you can visit with Exodus Travels
Photos must be uploaded in JPG format with a file size between 2MB and 5MB
Applicants must fill out the form on the webpage, providing a brief explanation of where and when they took their photo and why they consider it Nature First.
File names of photos should list the name of the destination and the applicant’s name eg. amalfi_coast_john_smith.jpg
Photographs must be taken in landscape to fit on our Exodus Travels Calendar
Photographs must be of print quality so they can be featured in the Exodus Calendar (300 dpi).

Photo Master Competition – Terms & Conditions

Upon sending images to Exodus Travels you are giving us permission to use your imagery in all marketing material including and not limited to, our calendar, brochure, website, blog and social media channels.
To enter, submit your contact details and photograph, along with a description of the image through the form provided. If you are unable to use the form, you may email your submission to photomaster@exodus.co.uk. Entries made elsewhere will not be counted.
Entries submitted via email must contain your postal address.
The competition runs from 16th July 2022 – 31st August 2022. Entries received after this date will not be considered for the prize-draw.
Entries are restricted to a maximum of one per person.
Each entry submitted must meet with the entry requirements listed on the Exodus Photo Master webpage.
By entering the competition, you are confirming that you own the rights to the photograph submitted and, where a person is the subject of the picture, that you had their permission to take the photograph.
Exodus will contact winners on the email address used to enter the competition.
The Exodus Travels Photo Master Competition is open to all Exodus customers based in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Entrants must be 18 years old or over at the time of entry.
No purchase necessary.
The panel of Exodus judges will select up to six winners on 2nd September 2022. Winners will be contacted with-in 7 days of the prize-draw.
Exodus’ decision is final and we do not take responsibility for late or lost entries.
Winners will be announced on our Facebook page as well as on other social media channels, our website and by email.
Prize consists of the winning photos being included in the Exodus 2023 calendar and one of six Exodus vouchers worth £250 redeemable against any Exodus holiday. Exodus vouchers can be used in conjunction with Loyalty Discounts. Please note: if a winner is selected that resides outside the UK, the prize will be the equivalent value of Exodus vouchers.
Exodus Travels reserves the right to change the prize at any time and without notice. The prize offered will always be to the value of £250.
Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternatives are available.
By entering the competition, participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by these terms and conditions.
Exodus Travels reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions as necessary at any time.
The competition excludes all Exodus employees, their families and anyone else connected with the administration of the competition.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
