Petro’s desire to work in travel prompted her to leave her corporate job behind and she began her career as a tour guide. Her love of the Western Cape and Garden route also compelled her to relocate to Gordon’s Bay so that she could always be ready to lead tours in this part of South Africa. Consistently receiving excellent feedback from all who travel with her, Petro is passionate about South Africa’s magnificent wildlife, epic landscapes and diverse cultures plus she is fluent in Afrikaans and English. Her favourite destination on this tour is De Hoop Nature Reserve because of the unspoiled beauty of the area and the fantastic whale watching that is possible.
