Thoughts on Group Leader
Constantly went out of his way to make sure all members of the group were having the best possible experience. Excellent organisational skills and very hard working. Always cheerful and a pleasure to be with. Outstanding.

Well planned itinerary, excellent guide, very interesting tour. Good accommodation and good group size.

Excellent introduction to Vietnam, culture, people and food
Cycling the hai van pass
Lam was fantastic, he looked after us, informed us of the local history and made sure everybody was having a good time whilst staying safe
Do some cycle training in warm weather
Great trip from start to finish showcasing lots of different parts of Sri Lanka. The hiking was great and really got you away from the tourist hot spots. Beautiful scenery up in the mountains and forests, tea plantations, lakes, waterfalls. It was more beautiful than I had imagined. Hotels were all of a good standard, several with pools. I would have preferred not to camp the one night but that is just me! I liked that there weren’t lots of long road journeys and the itinerary was well paced. Lots of opportunities to sample Sri Lankan food. Great wildlife and birds. We were lucky enough to spot a leopard but the safari would have been fun even if we hadn’t as there was still lots to see. Overall, a brilliant trip as you see and do so much in the 15 days.
Hard to pick one! Probably hiking in the Knuckles mountain range as you were truly away from other tourists.
Sujee worked tirelessly to ensure we all had a great trip. Everything was very well organised and it was great to have the same driver and assistant for the entire trip. They also looked after us superbly. Always there with a smile, snacks and drinks on our return from a hike.
Really enjoyed this trip. I liked the busy pace, the treks, houseboat and the homestay in particular. It was only a small group but we bonded easily over a couple of beers on the first night and that continued through the duration of the trip.
Probably the trekking and in particular the third day which covered a lot of ground ending in a tea plantation near to the village of Yellapetty.
Excellent - organised, helpful and very knowledgeable.
Be prepared for he leeches if it rains but don't let that put you off, its an excellent trip and one of the best I've done.
The trip was well organized and the trip leader Rit was outstanding. We have done many trips with different guides and he was world class.
Great service whilst booking, small group on trip, great service from guides during trip. Accommodated individuals needs.
Boat trip.
Ahmed made this trip. He gelled well with the group and accommodated all our needs.
We have travelled with you a number of times and have never had anything other than a good experience.
Night food tour of Hanoi, Cu Chi tunnels, Angkor Wat, acrobats at Saigon Opera House.
Best guide we have had. He was so attentive to detail and determined to make sure we all had an enjoyable holiday. Thanh was an absolute star and a great ambassador for Exodus.
Our Cambodia adventure was absolutely amazing and exceeded expectations. Ly was a brilliant tour guide and ensured everything went smoothly. I hadn’t come across the term ‘happy loo’ before, but Ly ensured that there were regular stops. Cambodian people are incredibly friendly and it is humbling to see how happy they are with so little, particularly in the south. Now is a great time to visit as I’m sure there will be a lot more tourists and it will change quickly in the future, particularly with the new airport near Angkor Wat.
Angkor Wat does take your breath away.
Ly was exceptional. Our flight on the last day was late afternoon and as we had a three day pass to Angkor Wat he kindly organised for a tuk tuk to take us and wait for we visited an extra two temples. Great advice about restaurants and choices for the evening - Cambodian food is incredibly tasty.
Only one happy loo visited out of many did not have toilet paper so always worth having some in your pocket. It is an action packed, full itinerary, which I like, but worth getting out and about and exploring on your own as well. Our guide recommended suitable laundry adjacent to hotels that charge $2 per kilogram, so easy to get sweaty clothes cleaned again. The cycling was fun and on cycle tracks for nearly all of the time.
Great walk along the Langtang Valley. Very quite compared to other similar treks and good quality teahouses. Some long days and lots of up and down particularly on the 2nd half of the trek
Climbing to the top of Tsergo Ri at 5033m and the views across the whole Langtang Valley. The bakery at Kyanjin Gompa is a must visit
Valerie and the local guides were great and nothing was ever too much trouble
Do the trek while the route is relatively quiet you wont regret it. Also fly out a few days before the trek so you can recover from any jet lag
Fully immersive into the local culture, the trip takes in the ways of life across a hugely populated and relatively underdeveloped state of Tamil Nadu and the more prosperous and relatively developed state of Kerala. It is not for the faint heated as long cycling days end with relatively modest accommodation and throughout the local food is the only option, and toilet stops basic.
The unspoilt beauty of the back roads through paddy fields and the scenery of Kerala
He had not done this trip since before covid. Therefore not as well versed on routes, culture, hotels etc as one would usually expect from exodus. That said he was always helpful, organised and keen to see everyone ok.
Be ready for a full immersion into India - and happy with a lack of sophistication
