Despite unexpected illness we had a wonderful and rewarding trip.

This was our 3rd trip with Exodus and it did not disappoint. Our guide, Carla, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. The trip was extremely interesting and gave us a great overview of where in Portugal we would want to visit for a longer time in the future.

Having done a safari in lodges in Kenya 20+years ago, we wanted to experience the adventure of a safari under canvas, getting up close to the wildlife of Botswana. Oh boy! We were not disappointed. This was the most thrilling holiday we’ve ever been on; absolutely sensational. Our leader, Brian, and his team were brilliant, making sure everything ran smoothly and we got the most out of each day. Wild camping is an experience like no other. It’s very down-to-earth, can be very hot and dusty, but is a lot more comfortable than you might think. Our party were all 50+years old but adapted to the camping easily. There are lots of early starts, but who cares when you see so much wonderful wildlife. This is an adventure not to be missed.

Neil Phillips Wildlife & Wilderness of Botswana

This was a very (very) enjoyable vacation. We have a good mix of personalities in the group who got on together and a great guide, Lina, who kept everything rolling. The mix of cycling and Baltic culture was the right balance and the sunny, warm weather, for all but the last day, showcased the 3 x Baltic countries at their glorious best.

The trip blended the cycling with city visits (inc three in Lithuania, Kaunas, Klaipeda and Vilnius), beach visit (optional swim), a boat trip, city tours, country sightseeing, supported with interesting history and facts, supplied by Lina. This provided an overview of a ‘hidden part’ of Europe, that was very enlightening, more so now, due to the Baltic states proximity and relationship with bordering Russia.

The hotels were all good standard and the local food ranged from good to delicious. During the days, we had the right amount of stops for coffee, ice cream, comfort breaks etc. Additionally, the local Baltic beer in all three countries is excellent, but be warned, pretty strong too.

Estonia, Latvia & Lithuania do have many similarities but are clearly unique. Personally, I came away educated & with a clearer understanding of the the history and politics of the region & I’m grateful for this

I highly recommend this trip – it was so good, I may even do it again!

David Roberts Cycle the Baltics

This trip was incredible – from our amazing guide, Aitor, to the fun group we got lucky to travel with, to the special itinerary itself, this tour is incredible from start to finish! If you have ever considered walking the Camino (or at least the highlights of it), then let this be your sign to go ahead and book it!
The walks themselves can be challenging, but along with your group and the motivation from the guide, you will feel accomplished by the end of each day and will wake up feeling ready for the next! Join this tour with the expectation of seeing so many scenic villages and towns, tasting different food, and getting deeper insight into how the locals live and work – as you will see all of this and more on this amazing trip.
Reaching the Cathedral in Santiago is a moment I will never forget, and one which I will be returning to do again in my life.
