Strava lets you track your rides and runs via your iPhone, Android or GPS device. It’s a great way to keep track of how far you’re cycling and whether you’re improving.
You can track information on mileage, average speeds, elevation gained and even calories burned. There is also the “segment” feature where you can earn the King of the Mountain title by being the fastest on certain stretches of road. Strava takes the GPS from your workout and adds it to a map where you can see who’s ridden the same roads. You can upload your activities from your Garmin, Android or iPhone and they will be automatically logged to your Strava profile.
It’s completely free so why not sign up then join us at Exodus CC to share your routes and see where some of our staff and other clients like to ride. We will also be asking our leaders around the globe to track some of our rides, so you can see exactly what you will be cycling when you go on your Exodus cycling holiday.
