This was my partners and my first exodus and group walking tour and we couldn’t have been happier with how the week went! We were by far the youngest’s on our tour but we still had a lot of fun mixing and getting to know each of our tour members. You stay in a small town up in hills away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist towns. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Nico our guide is very informative about the local area from the towns, landscapes, were to eat, which beaches to go to, organized extras like local limoncello tasting and very helpful if you needed to know anything from wear to buy new shoes if yours fell apart to bus routes and timetables. The scenery you get to take in is amazing and are your typical postcard pictures! The treks are 80-90% down hill with alottttt of stairs with the exception of Mt Vesuvius and Monte Tre Calli, if you can make it through Day 1 – Monte Tre Calli then the rest of the week is a breeze!

Morgan Adshead Walking the Amalfi Coast
William Pearson Walking the Amalfi CoastThis was our 20th Exodus trip and one of the best run. We would place Veriano with Gum in Nepal, Martin Gray in Antarctica and Sarah in Tuscany as the best leaders.
Andrew Regan Walking the Amalfi CoastWonderful from start to finish, Paulo our guide was amazing and took us places we just wouldn’t have gone without him. Loved the walk to Amalfi from the hotel and also walking the crater of Versuvius was a once in a lifetime opportunity (particularly when you see other tourists just being able to do a small stretch). Bomerano is a lovely Italian village and you do feel you’re away from the usual coatal tourist traps.
