As a contrast to the exciting game areas and the mountain, Zanzibar is a beautiful jewel in the Indian Ocean. With a fascinating spice and slaving legacy, crumbling Stonetown has streets full of character, and the beaches on the north and east coast are stunning. Whether it is diving, snorkelling, fishing, swimming with dolphins or just relaxing, Zanzibar has few if any equals.
