Amakhala game reserve - superb guide and lots of wildlife to see.
Thoughts on Group Leader
Petro made this tour fantastic. Her organisation and knowledge were second to none. She is obviously well known and liked by many of the restauranteurs and hoteliers along the route. She was able to re-arrange the published route in small ways at times, to take advantage of weather conditions or to ensure we had extra time in certain places. We were celebrating an anniversary and she went to some trouble to make it very special for us. I cannot praise her abilities highly enough.
Petro Petorius was absolutely excellent as a guide, she made sure the trip ran smoothly and adapted to the group really well. The trip really did show the highlights of South Africa and the safari experience was brilliant
Most Inspirational Moment
Safari was amazing - Amakala was brilliant, Marten was an excellent ranger and so knowledgeable Loved the day in Stellenbosch - wine tasting at the vineyards was great Blackheath Lodge in Cape Town was a lovely hotel
Thoughts on Group Leader
Petro was exceptional - I have done lots of group tours and she is the best leader I have come across. Positive and engaging, full of knowledge which she happily shared and ran things so smoothly She organised dinners for the evenings when we had free time using local restaurants she knows - all were great. Her communication was clear and we always knew the plans for the day ahead. Honestly I cannot praise her highly enough - she is a total star and a real asset!
