Great programme, excellent guide – Ibrahim. Exodus really put customer service first. From the first telephone call to being met at the airport and our amazing tour guide throughout the trip. The personal touch really makes a difference.

Manni excellent leader – see later. Great place to visit and well thought out itinerary
Multiple - places like the rock hotel and the trulli houses, lovely cycle routes through great countryside, the area and most importantly a great leader.
Manni was great - a gentle. careful and knowledgeable leader who was always willing to help, had an intimate knowledge of the region and was a great person!
Variety of sights was very good. Our guides were exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable.
The night in a yurt, scenery, the quality of food everywhere was unexpected, architecture and history (especially Uzbekistan).
Both Vitaliy and Dilshod were personable and helpful. Their knowledge was exceptional, and helped us understand their culture in a part of the world which I did not know. Sometimes the talks were a little bit long as there was a lot of information to take in.
Tim Stephens was a great tour leader, very professional and organised as well as very patient. It also helped that we had outstanding weather.
The hiking was outstanding with good paths and routes and amazing views.
Great guy who was unassuming but always knew what needed to be done and communicate it well. His excellent photos were a bonus.
Mixed walks along the stunning French Riviera coastline coupled with visits to some of the most famous gardens in the region. Opportunity to learn about the history of the area and a must for garden lovers. Warm enough to swim in peaceful Med sea in October. Menton, the resort were stayed throughout our trip, retains the atmosphere of genteel aristocratic tourism. The Italian influence is strong as the town is just a few kilometres from the Italian border. Most of the restaurants serve Italian food.
Every time we turned a corner to see another beautiful view of the Med, the coastline and the azure sky. The visit to the Ephrussi villa and garden owned by Beatrice Rothschild early last century with its 18th century interior and immaculate gardens with the sea on either side stood out.
Gee was amazing from start to finish - friendly, informed and very helpful with walking techniques. She always went the extra mile. For example, she joining our group every night for dinner even though the dinners were not part of the trip.
Just go! This is possibly the most beautiful of the 10 or so walking holidays I've been on in Southern Europe (not all with Exodus). Take your walking sticks and a good pair of walking boots. Part of one walk and the walk on the last day were down tricky rocky slopes which were too difficult for me and I think more difficult than the Level 2 of the trip. The guide arranged for those of us who didn't want to join the difficult walks a way back on the bus. This did not detract from my overall delight with the trip.

The wild Algarve and its people are wonderful! The hikes along the high cliffs were truly gorgeous and inspiring. We love learning about the places we travel in, which is why we keep returning to Exodus for tours. The leaders made frequent stops along our walks to explain about geology, history and even the arts of the area, including why the music genre of Fado was so important during the rule of Portugal’s dictator (when we were looking at a town’s murals of a singer).
Meeting the people of Portugal, especially all the interesting and talented crafts people and artists who are keeping important traditions alive.
Both Rafael and Francisco were awesome! They were always patient and supportive. Francisco took many opportunities to stop and explain about the geology, history or the arts of the area, asking 'why is this important?' which really engages the listener. We learned so much about Portugal!
We only had 1 day of rain but were very glad we were prepared with rain proof ponchos (be sure and check beforehand that your jacket is truly rain proof!). Be sure and train going up hills, there were some long climbs.
We had an excellent guide, a superb group of like minded travellers, very satisfactory accommodation (as described in the literature) and an extensive programme. Every day and every location was spot on.
Petra Wadi Rum and an evening in a beduoin-style camp Dead Sea The variety of historic and cultural locations.
Tip top Have already recommended him as a private guide to friends visiting Jordan next year.
Excellent guide. Good hotels. Good guides and transport.
Taormina, noto, and erice were all lovely.
Laura was very helpful, enthusiastic, and a good communicator. She was/is an excellent guide and we are both more than happy with how she treated us and helped the group.
Well organised trip with great tour leader and local guides.
Going up Mount Etna, the stay in Syracuse / Ortygia and Monreale
One of the most enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour leaders I have experienced. Got us laughing within minutes of the day starting.
