Highlights of our Italy Tours
1. Amalfi Coast: With shimmering seas, soaring cliffs and glittering coves, the Amalfi Coast is a great introduction to our Italy tours and practically a second home for us. Based at Hotel Due Torri, we explore the best of the region: secluded mountain paths, cliffside towns and chic Capri, often with the chance to visit Pompeii and Mount Vesuvius.
2. Tuscany: From the rolling vineyards of the south to the mountainous north, our trips to Tuscany take you away from the tourists. Explore by bike or on foot, but always with the chance to fuel your adventure with great food and world-renowned wines.
3. Sicily: Our Sicily tours get under the skin of Italy’s largest island – a culture-packed destination of ancient ruins, medieval churches and prehistoric caves. And then there’s the food: pronounced by locals as the best in Italy.
4. The Dolomites: Spectacular mountain routes are linked by a series of fixed cables, ladders and bridges. Ranging from simple to technically difficult, they give you the opportunity to explore breath-taking mountain scenery on our walking and trekking tours.
5. Puglia: The heel of Italy’s boot, Puglia is one of the lesser-known destinations from our Italy tours. Don’t let that fool you. The Apulia region will surprise you with its picturesque landscapes, ancient hilltop towns, emerald waters, and lush farmlands dotted by ancient olive trees and conical shepherd huts known as trulli.
With so much to see and experience, you’ll not want to miss our trips to Italy.

Julia Bianco – Lead Product Manager Europe
“Raised in the countryside of North Italy, I cherish la vendemmia (the harvest). Picking grapes with family and friends, then sharing food and wine, are some of my best memories, so returning home in September and October always brings back the magic of those moments. Prosecco, Tuscany and Umbria are ideal destinations to celebrate the occasion. ”
Italy’s climate varies throughout the country but visitors can expect hot, dry summers and fairly cold, rainy winters. Similar to the UK, spring and autumn can bring both pleasant weather and cooler, wetter conditions.
Central and southern Italy experience the hottest, driest summer months with the major cities seeing temperatures of up to 40 degrees in July and August. October and November see the most rainfall in the north of the country, while the Italian Alps is the place to go for winter snow activities.
Our tours to Italy take place over six to 15 days, with most of our trips lasting eight days in total. The exact length depends on the tour and itinerary chosen but we’ve tailored all our Italy trips to make sure you get the most out of your visit.
Along with organised activities and sightseeing, you’ll often get free time in your itinerary to soak up the atmosphere and explore or relax however you want.
We’ve collated answers to frequent questions about our tours in Italy. If you still need more information, contact our expert team who will be happy to help.

Jadin Leibovitch Walking the Amalfi CoastThis trip was nothing short of transformative. I have not travelled much in my life, at least not trips like this one, but nothing could have prepared me for how deeply this experience would impact me. From the first morning waking up in Bomerano, sometimes literally inside the clouds, I felt a new kind of aliveness I had never felt before. Every direction I looked was breathtaking, and every day left me feeling inspired, connected and genuinely grateful. What started as a simple hiking holiday quickly became something life changing, and our group bonded in a way that lifted my spirit more than I ever expected. It truly felt like stepping into a dream I never wanted to end. Every hike, every day, offered another reason to fall in love with life again.
Grazie assai, Agerola. Dentro le tue nuvole ho ritrovato il respiro, e nei tuoi sentieri ho imparato a vivere il momento. Non sognarlo soltanto: vivilo.
Diana Vargas Discover Tuscany: Culture, Food & WineThis tour was an amazing way to experience the heart of Tuscany. The itinerary was perfectly balanced with cultural visits, delicious food and wine experiences, and plenty of free time to explore or relax. Some highlights for me were the guided tour of Siena, where we tasted incredible pastries made from unique local recipes, the pasta-making class in Chianti with a warm and welcoming family, and the wine tastings at beautiful family-run estates where we learned so much about what we were enjoying. Our day in Florence was equally wonderful. The hotel in Pancole was cozy and inviting and all the family and staff were so welcoming, and our tour leader made everything smooth and enjoyable. A fantastic trip filled with unforgettable memories!
Judy Smith Cycling in SicilyVery enjoyable week, excellent mix of cycling through the countryside, learning about a new culture, strolling round old cities, meeting like minded adventurers from across the pond, good food and wine plus sea swimming opportunities. Mixture of standard and ebikes in the group.
